Novokuznetsk State Institute for Advanced Training of Physicians was founded in 1927, on the basis of Faculty of Medicine Tomsk University, from where he was transferred to Novosibirsk, and then, in 1951, to Stalinsk (Novokuznetsk). Such outstanding scientists as V.M. Mysh, A.L. Myasnikov, A.V. Triumfov, A.N. Zimin, S.P. Karpov, A.A. Smorodintsev, A.A. Collen, V.A. Pulkis, N.I. Gorizontov, B.I. Fuchs, L.G. Shkolnikov, O. I. Sher-shevskaya, A.M. Mazhbits, Yu.P. Nikitin, Y. Yu. Pope-lyansky, A.I. Osna, Ya.B. Yudin, G.A. Goldberg.

The scientific directions and schools laid down by them are being successfully developed by the modern generation of GIDUV scientists, many of whom are known not only in Russia, but also abroad. These include V.I. Savinykh, I.R. Schmidt, N.A. Zorin, A.V. Kol-basco, V.K. Polenichkin, K.Z. Borisova, Ya.A. Gorbatovsky, V.A. Calm, G.I. Chechenin, M.V. Belyaev, F.K. Manerov, A.L. Khanin, V.A. Lonshakov, N.V. Mingalev, V.V. Kotenko, E.M. Perkin, I.R. Kuzina, E. D. Fastykovskaya and many others.

Currently, the Novokuznetsk GIDUV is a large state educational institution of additional professional education of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The institute has 40 departments at three faculties (surgical, therapeutic and preventive medicine), a central research laboratory, a vivarium, scientific Library, 3 student dormitories for 1060 places, housekeeping service. In 2000, the Kuzbass Research Institute of Traumatology and Rehabilitation became part of GIDUV. The institute employs 225 teaching staff, including 46 doctors of sciences and 127 candidates of medical sciences.

Clinical departments of the Institute are located in 12 large well-equipped medical institutions in Novokuznetsk and in clinics of 4 research institutes. The total number of beds in them is more than 6500. Employees of the departments not only provide methodological guidance to the activities of clinical departments, but also perform the most complex operations, treat the most "severe" patients. Many heads of departments are part-time directors of clinics in their profile.

Over its 75-year history, the institute has trained more than 300 thousand healthcare professionals for Siberia.

ri and other regions of Russia. In the last 25 years alone, more than 125,000 doctors and 5,290 paramedics in 8 specialties have completed postgraduate training, professional retraining and advanced training in 63 specialties at the institute. The quality of this training is consistently highly appreciated by trainees and heads of regional health authorities.

Novokuznetsk GIDUV has become a recognized scientific and medical center of Siberia, a leader in the development of new methods and scientific directions. V last years Institute employees defend 7-10 doctoral dissertations and up to 30 candidate dissertations. 16 people are completing their doctoral dissertations. In the last 5 years alone, 31 monographs, 16 collections have been published scientific works, about 2.5 thousand articles; received 185 RF patents for inventions. About 500 developments have been introduced into healthcare practice based on the results of our own scientific research. Scientific developments of the teachers of the institute have repeatedly won prizes at international medical exhibitions. In 1998 the institute was awarded the prize of the European Economic Community "Golden Mercury", and in 2000 received the Grand Prix at the International Exhibition in Tokyo "Genius 2000".

The half-century period of the Institute's work in Novokuznetsk is characterized by the development of specialized medical services in Kuzbass and Siberia. Thus, Professor A.A. Chervinsky organized the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, and with it - the corresponding service in the region. Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Professor Ya.B. Yudin laid the foundation for two specialized services at once: osteoarticular tuberculosis and pediatric surgery; L.G. Schoolchildren - traumatology and orthopedics; A.M. Mashbits - urogynecology; E.S. Trun-chenkova - endocrinology; O.I. Shershevskaya - ophthalmology; A.A. Saveliev - functional diagnostics; B.I. Fuchs and E.M. Perkin - organ-sparing stomach surgery. Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Professor G.A. Goldberg is rightfully considered the founder of Kuzbass cardiology, and Professor A.I. Basis - neurosurgical service.

Russian congresses, conferences, symposia. So, within the walls of the institute, the doctrine of osteochondrosis of the spine was born and received a powerful development. Together with the staff of the Tomsk Institute of Physics and Technology, GIDUV scientists for the first time in the country began to use implants with thermomechanical shape memory and porous titanium-nickel alloys. Eight departments of the surgical profile have been studying this problem for 15 years. 5 monographs and 6 collections of scientific works have been published on this issue, 6 conferences have been held.

For the first time in the world, jaw arthroplasty, intraosseous dental implants, sets of devices for fixing bone fragments of the facial skeleton, spine, and tubular bones have been developed and introduced into clinical practice.

The Department of Neurosurgery is a leader in the study of diseases and injuries of the spine and spinal cord, pathological processes of the cranio-vertebral region. At this department, priority development was given to such scientific areas as the use of anterior decompression-stabilizing operations on the spine, stereosurgical treatment of malignant forms of drug addiction, puncture removal of intracranial hematomas in newborns with birth trauma, etc.

Employees of the Department of ENT Diseases have created a new direction - neurorinology. They are leaders in the development of treatment for ENT oncological diseases, in the study of the problems of plastic and reconstructive surgery of ENT organs.

The surgeons of the institute have created the technology of organ-sparing operations for gastric ulcer, which has been developed through modern methods of endosurgery and pathogenetically grounded drug therapy. They created a regional center for gastrology and endosurgery.

The staff of the Department of Ophthalmology made a great contribution to the study of the genetic aspects of the development of eye diseases, vascular pathology of the retina and to the surgical treatment of myopia; developed enzyme therapy.

Pediatricians and pediatric surgeons have developed a system for the treatment of destructive forms of pneumonia, and are successfully carrying out scientific research in the field of hematology oncology.

The Central Scientific Research Laboratory, together with eight departments of the Institute, was the first to substantiate the existence of the family of human and animal macroglobulins, and determined the role of macroglobulins as a central regulator of homeostasis. Here, for the first time, methods were developed for molecular diagnostics of cancer, pathology of pregnancy, kidneys, liver, and brain.

Much attention is paid to the computerization of medical and educational processes. For the first time in the country, an automated control system "Gorzdrav" and an automated control system "ambulance", a program of intensive training and knowledge control, as well as an algorithm for a doctor's actions in a hospital environment have been developed.

Novokuznetsk GIDUV is a leader in the development of enzyme therapy based on a complex of melon tree protein - papain; fundamentally new methods of treatment of osteochondrosis of the spine, eye diseases, burns and a number of other diseases have been created. Employees of a number of departments have contributed to the study of hemostasis, the role of hematological criteria of the body and anthropogenic factors the environment, non-drug treatment methods, the prevalence of coronary heart disease, emergency care and rehabilitation of patients with myocardial infarction, etc.

A powerful impetus in the training of scientific and teaching personnel was the organization of research work on the study of the incidence of the indigenous inhabitants of Gorny Altai and the influence of genetic and environmental factors on it. This unprecedented work, based on 12 complex expeditions with the participation of specialists from 22 departments, was headed by Professor A.V. Sausage. The results of the work made it possible to create a unique data bank, which will be used to perform several dozen dissertations. The doctoral (VM Podkhomutnikov) and candidate (GA Lazarev) dissertations have already been defended, and 8 more doctoral and 20 master's theses are being prepared for defense.

Much attention is paid to the intensification of research work. In the conditions of market relations and the difficult financial situation of medical workers, they are more willing to go to study at those departments that are successfully engaged in scientific research, where there are "proprietary" methods of diagnosing and treating patients.

Studying proccess the institute adapts to market relations, responds quickly to requests and real health care needs. An example of mobility is the adaptation of a department to general medical practice(family doctor) to the opportunities of students who study in the second half of the day for two years, with partial separation from production activities. All restructuring and reorganization taking place in the Russian healthcare system is perceived by the institute to change its structure and content of the educational process.

And it is not at all accidental, when in 1977 the 50th anniversary of the institute was celebrated, at the suggestion of the regional leadership and the Ministry of Health of the USSR, at the request of the public and a large army of graduates of the GIDUV, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Novokuznetsk GIDUV was awarded the order Labor Red Banner. Many employees of the institute received awards of various levels (orders, medals, certificates, etc.).

The new generation of GIDUV teachers continues the good traditions of their teachers, develops original scientific directions. This is a guarantee of the preservation of the glory and authority of one of the oldest GIDUVs in the country.

In 1931, the university was transferred to the city of Novosibirsk, where it worked until 1951. And for almost 60 years, the Novokuznetsk State Institute of Internal Affairs has been faithfully serving the Kuzbass. medical institute which later became a major medical university... For many years, the two universities worked under the leadership of a single director, many professors of the SEUV were also in charge of the departments of the same name of the medical institute. In 1951, after the medical institute was firmly on its feet, at the insistent request of metallurgists and the personal order of I.V. Stalin GIUV was transferred to the thriving industrial city of Stalinsk (Novokuznetsk). This happened largely due to the fact that in previous years, many leading scientists of the Novosibirsk State Institute of Higher Education repeatedly visited Kuzbass, including Stalinsk, advising patients, conducting field improvement courses for doctors and scientific research. For the first five years, the Institute was headed by Professor A.N. Arabian - a well-known specialist mycologist, dermatovenerologist. In 1956, the city of Stalinsk was renamed Novokuznetsk, and the GIUV was named Novokuznetsk ( NGIUV). In the same year, NSIUV was headed by Professor S.L. Starkov, highly qualified ophthalmologist and healthcare organizer, past war and the school of the country's largest ophthalmologists - professors A.A. Kolena and O. I. Shernevskaya. His associates in those years were a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, professor, honored scientist, prominent hygienist V.I. Pulkis, professor G.M. Shershevsky is a student of Academician A.L. Myasnikov, professor B.I. Fuks - student and associate of Academician V.M. Mysha, professor L.G. Shkolnikov is the founder of the glorious school of Novokuznetsk and Kuzbass traumatologists and orthopedists, who gave the country more than a dozen prominent professors, Professor O.I. Shershevskaya is a student of Professor A.A. Colin, professor D.Ya. Bogatin, P.T. Prikhodko, I.I. Kartsovnik, A.A. Savelyev and many others. Along with the venerable scientists of the "old guard", many scientists and young teachers who arrived in Novokuznetsk from other cities of the country, as well as those who grew up in Novokuznetsk itself, appeared and quickly showed themselves. I AM. Nekachalov, E. D. Maryasis. At the same time, V.A. Calm, E.M. Perkin, E. D. Fastykovskaya, I.B. Gordon, A.A. Chervinsky, Y. Yu. Popelyansky, A.I. Osna and a number of other teachers who later became doctors of sciences, professors, heads of departments and brought glory to NGIUV not only as an advanced educational institution but also as a large scientific center. The geography of the places from which the cadets came to Novokuznetsk to study stretched from Moldova and the Baltic States to Sakhalin and Chukotka, from Taimyr to the Pamirs. From 1972 to 1984 the Institute was headed by Professor I.A. Bityugov, participant of the Great Patriotic War... After the SMIUV moved to Stalinsk, he went from assistant to professor and head of the department, became an outstanding scientist and organizer of medical science. 1960s - 1980s were marked by the opening of a number of new departments of NGIUV: anesthesiology and resuscitation, headed by an associate professor, later professor A.A. Chervinsky; occupational pathology, headed by Associate Professor G.L. Pombrakom; neurosurgery, headed by Associate Professor, later Professor and Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation A.I. Basic. Classes at the Department of General Pathology In 1970, the Department of Social Hygiene and Health Organization was reopened, headed by Professor M.N. Zinker. The organization of the Central Scientific Research Laboratory contributed to the formation of new major scientific directions and schools, thanks to which the Novokuznetsk State Institute of Higher Education became a famous scientific center of the country. A new galaxy of talented scientists who became doctors of sciences and professors grew up. Among them: Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Yu.P. Nikitin, Honored Scientists of the Russian Federation A.A. Lutsik and I.R. Schmidt and many others. From an importer of scientific and pedagogical personnel, the Novokuznetsk State Institute of Higher Education soon turned into an exporter. Scientists who grew up at the university headed departments in many cities of the country. In 1977 - in the year of the 50th anniversary of the founding - by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the institute was awarded the order Of the Red Banner of Labor. In 1984, Professor A.A. Lutsik. New departments are opening at PSIUV: medical cybernetics and informatics, surgical dentistry, orthopedic dentistry, therapeutic dentistry, emergency medical care, psychotherapy and narcology. On the basis of the Department of Health Organization, a Center was created under the auspices of the WHO, which develops health management systems, a clinical and diagnostic computing center was opened using automated diagnostic algorithms, a target program for medical examination of the population was developed (professors M.N. Tsinker, G.I. Chechenin and others), The 90s of the XX century were marked by the transition of the country to market relations, a decrease in budget funding. The need to adapt to new economic conditions and to satisfy the needs of practical healthcare to the maximum extent possible led to the opening of new subdivisions and departments: reflexology, traditional medicine, in 2001 renamed into the department of manual therapy, reflexology and neurology, a course of neurorehabilitation, a course, and then the department of endoscopy and endosurgery. In 1998, on the basis of a neurorehabilitation course, the Department of Physical Therapy, Physiotherapy and Balneology was organized, the Department of Occupational Diseases was organized on 15 1999. The reorganization processes that took place in these years to Russian health care were perceived by the institute to change its structure and content of the educational process. headed by Doctor of Medical Sciences Professor A.V. Kolbasko, who made his way within the walls of NSIUV from a clinical intern to a professor and rector. More than 10 years of work as vice-rector for research work and good awareness of the pressing problems of the university allowed him to carry out a number of necessary transformations in a short time, such as overhaul of the administrative building and dormitories, replenishing the library fund, organizing computer classes, purchasing modern dummies for conducting practical classes at many departments of the institute. The main activity of the Novokuznetsk State Institute for Advanced Training of Doctors is postgraduate promotion qualifications of doctors. The educational and pedagogical process at the university is carried out according to unified unified curricula approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The Institute has a state license for the following types of postgraduate and additional professional education: training in clinical internship, training in a two-year clinical residency, training in a three-year postgraduate study, professional retraining , professional development of specialists with higher medical education in 63 specialties and specialists with secondary medical education in 16 specialties (general and thematic improvement, on-the-job training). postgraduate education the task is not only to improve the level of theoretical training in the specialty, but also to teach the doctor to use the knowledge gained in practice. With the aim of more successful mastering of practical skills in the Novokuznetsk SEUV, cadets on duty with teachers, supervision of thematic patients, participation in diagnostic and therapeutic manipulations, and assistance in operations are organized. Cadets of surgical specialties, who cannot be trusted to perform complex operations, practice performing surgical interventions on biological dummies. Active participation in scientific-practical and pathological conferences, reports conducted by professors. At these seminars, the ability of doctors to argue for the correct diagnosis, to choose an adequate tactics for treating a patient is practiced. It is no coincidence that all clinical departments are located in large clinical hospitals, which are diversified in structure. Since autumn 2005, the institute has been working within the framework of the national project "Health". Cycles were organized, which trained more than 600 district therapists, about 500 district pediatricians and 135 general practitioners from the Kemerovo region, the republics of Khakassia and Tuva. In 2006, seven cycles of advanced training were conducted on additional drug provision for certain categories of citizens of the Russian Federation (beneficiaries), which trained 614 primary care physicians. The Department of Endocrinology trained 24 district therapists in Khakassia, the Department of Psychotherapy and Narcology - 18 specialists in the Republic of Tuva. The Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology has trained 30 district pediatricians of the Kemerovo region on a cycle of advanced training. Lectures Doctors undergoing training at NSIUV have the opportunity to master in practice specific methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients developed at the departments of the institute. Thus, the Department of Neurosurgery is a national leader in the problem of osteochondrosis and other diseases of the spine and spinal cord. The staff of the department contributed to the development of such branches of neurosurgery as: neurosurgical treatment of birth trauma nervous system newborns, ischemic brain disease and craniovertebral pathology, psychostereosurgery, severe cervico-occipital trauma, treatment of spinal cord injuries and their consequences, the use of the proteolytic enzyme papain and metal with thermomechanical shape memory, and others. Patients from different regions of the country and from abroad. Department of Ophthalmology, successively headed by prominent scientists O.I. Shershevskaya, G.L. Starkov and V.I. Savinykh, laid the foundations of the Siberian School of Ophthalmologists, whose representatives run ophthalmological centers in many regions of the country. The staff of this department became pioneers of enzymatic therapy of eye diseases. Kolbasco using the population genetic method identified a new promising scientific direction in ophthalmology - ethnic ophthalmopagology. Using this approach, the population ophthalmopathology of the small peoples of Siberia is studied. Onishchenko successfully developing the problems of diagnostics, new methods of extracorporeal treatment and clinical examination of inflammatory eye diseases and glaucoma. Department of Social Hygiene and Health Organization, headed by Professor M.N. Pinker, the first country to start developing cybernetic models of healthcare management. The program "ASU-Gorzdrav" was awarded silver medal VDNKh and became the basis of computer models of healthcare management. The pioneers of the introduction of endoprostheses made of shape memory alloys into practice were the teams of the Departments of Surgical Dentistry (Professor V.K.Polenichkin) and Traumatology (Professors BC Kotenko, V.L. Intraosseous endoimilantates have been developed, which make it possible to reliably implant dentures, quickly and effectively heal bone fractures. The staff of the Department of Pediatric ENT-Diseases (Professor K.Z. Borisova) has developed unique methods of tympanoplasty, allowing to restore hearing to previously incurable patients. The Department of Otorhinolaryngology (Professor N.V. Mingalev), together with the staff of the Central Research Laboratory (Professor I.A.Zorin), for the first time established and determined the role of protein markers of laryngeal cancer, from the precancerous stage to distant relapses of the disease. Employees of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology (Professor Yu.A. Churlyaev), together with the Central Scientific Research Laboratory, for the first time established the features of the permeability of the blood-brain barrier in severe traumatic brain injury, and also proposed methods of complex treatment that would reduce mortality by half. pathology of great interest to the health care of the region. To solve environmental and medical problems, teams of dozens of departments are involved, which makes it possible to obtain comprehensive information about the state of health of the population. The largest of these programs are "Health of Metallurgists", "Republic of Altai - Human Ecology of the Middle Mountains of Siberia" and "Kuzbass - Human Ecology of Siberian Intermountain Basins." and Teleuts (the author and head of the program is Professor A.V. Kolbasko). Employees of the Department of Ophthalmology work in the operating room. Thus, in the interdepartmental laboratories of the Institute, the diagnostic capabilities of macroglobulins, which are universal regulators of the body's vital functions, are being successfully studied; methods for diagnosing early forms of cancer, pathological pregnancy, complications of neurotrauma and much more have been developed. The establishment of large scientific schools has borne fruit - if in the early 1980s 15-17 doctors of sciences worked at the institute, now their number is approaching 70. The number of candidates and doctors of sciences at the institute has reached 71%. and the professorship makes up almost 30% of all teachers. Annually up to five doctoral and up to 25 candidate dissertations are defended at the institute. In terms of the number of patents for inventions (more than 600), the Institute has been ranked first in Russia among all medical institutions for many years. Inventions of the Institute employees accounted for 7% of Russian patents and over 30% of Kuzbass patents. This means that every year the staff of the institute develop about 50 new methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients, which are introduced into educational and medical processes. At the largest medical exhibitions their patents were awarded the highest awards ("Golden Mercury", 1998, Dusseldorf; "Genius-2000", Tokyo and others). programs of teachers of the institute, more than 5,000 medical workers are trained at the university. If cyclone programs professional retraining(certification) are unified, then many programs of thematic improvement cycles, developed on the basis of the scientific achievements of the Institute's employees, are often unique. Scientific developments of the NSIUV employees are actively introduced into practice at the Institute's clinical bases. Clinical departments of the university are located in 18 medical institutions and research institutes. The employees of the institute carry out medical and methodological management of the activities of the base units. Many heads of the departments act as directors of clinics in the specialized departments in which the departments are located. This allows clinical hospitals to make the most of the scientific and therapeutic-diagnostic potential of the teachers of NGIUV. In 2002, two employees of the institute (associate professor V.G. Levchenko and senior lecturer T. V. Appelgans) were named winners in two of 10 nominations of the First all-Russian competition Doctor of the Year. In subsequent years, three more teachers of NGIUV were awarded this high title.
