    2. Introduction

    Our country has huge reserves of oil and gas, key components of the fuel and energy complex. According to preliminary data alone, about 1/3 of the world's explored reserves of natural gas are concentrated in Russia, the potential reserves of which are estimated at 160 trillion. m3, has quite large proven oil reserves (about 8% of the world's total - the sixth place in the world).

    All these reserves are underground and must be extracted. To extract these resources, drilling rigs are used, consisting of various drilling equipment. The complex includes structures, machines, and other auxiliary equipment mounted at the drilling point and providing independent performance of technological operations.

    But the situation is getting more complicated every year. There are fewer and fewer light deposits. There are more and more hard-to-reach fields, which are already located at depths of more than 3000 m. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and modernize drilling equipment, and automate drilling operations. Thanks to this, we will be able to maintain the current production level and possibly increase it.

    3. Analysis and technical characteristics of existing designs of mud pumps.

    1.1. Purpose, applicability of mud pumps.

    The mud pump is designed for pumping drilling fluid under high pressure into a well during exploration, production and deep exploration drilling.

    The mud pump delivers flushing fluid through the string of drill pipes to the bottom of the wells to cool the bit and remove the rock destroyed by the bit, as well as to transfer the energy of the flushing fluid flow to the hydraulic downhole motor and the associated bit.

    Mud pumps operate under very harsh conditions. They pump viscous solutions, usually prepared on the basis of clay-water mixtures and weighted with barite or hematite additives. The solutions contain up to 2% abrasive particles of cuttings and are pumped by pumps at a temperature of 40-70 ° C. In addition, they often contain chemical reagents: lime, caustic soda, acids, salts and other substances.

    It has been established by many years of practice in deep well drilling that only a horizontal piston pump meets the requirements of drilling technology. In practice, when drilling exploration, production and deep wells, piston pumps with a driving power of 32, 50, 80, 125, 190, 235, 300, 375, 475, 600, 750, 950, 1180 and 1840 kW are used (GOST 6031-81) with a maximum flow of 40-50 l / s, developing a maximum pressure of 90 MPa at a minimum flow. Regulation of the pump flow from 5-20 l / s to the maximum is carried out stepwise by changing pistons and cylinder liners of various diameters (108-200 mm).

    GOST 16293-82 "Complete drilling rigs for production and deep exploration drilling" provided for the transition to a complete set of drilling rigs with three-piston single-acting pumps. Currently, this transition has been completed, but for another 10-12 years, double-acting pumps (UNB-600) will be operated in deep drilling, and low-power double-piston double-acting pumps (UNB-600) for geological exploration, for the economic needs of deep drilling, in special works and oil production fields. , somehow NB-32; NB-50; NB-80; NB-125, 9T.

    The applicability of three-piston single-acting pumps is distributed as follows:

    1. NBT-475: BU1600 / 100EU; BU1600 / 100DGU.

    2. NBT-600: BU2500 / 160DGU-M; BU2500 / 160DEP-1;

    BU2500 / 160EP-1; BU2500 / 160EPK.

    3. UNBT-950: BU3200 / 200DGU-1; BU3200 / 200EU-1;

    BU3200 / 200EUK-2M; BU5000 / 320EU-1;

    BU5000 / 320DER-1; BU5000 / 320ER-1;

    BU5000 / 320DGU-1; BU6500 / 400DER.

    4. UNBT-1180: BU8000 / 500ER.

    Compared to two-piston double-acting pumps, these pumps have a number of advantages:

    1. a large (almost 2 times) uniformity of solution supply is ensured;

    2. the pulsation of the solution is reduced as a result of the use of spherical diaphragm compensators, which ensures a high performance;

    3. the mass of the pump has been reduced by 25-35% and the installation capacity has been improved;

    4. improved conditions for repair work and reduced repair time for servicing pumps in drilling;

    5. increased service life at high pressures (30-40 MPa) and flow.
