    Every year, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation revises the conditions for admission to universities, develops new requirements and terminates the outdated admission rules. Graduates need to carefully examine the changes that directly affect the likelihood of enrolling in a desired university. Of course, at the moment, new rules in the education system aimed at admitting applicants in 2018 have not yet appeared, but based on the experience of past years, it is possible to prepare documents for admission to a university in 2018 and draw some preliminary conclusions.

    When to apply to the university in 2018?

    Given that only five universities are allowed to submit documents in Russia, it is necessary to decide in advance which of them the originals should be brought to. The other four higher education institutions can send copies of documents by mail and register online.

    If you need to take additional university exams, then the documents must be submitted within the time limits prescribed by the university itself. As a rule, this date "floats" in the early days of July.

    If the university does not imply entrance exams, then the question of when to submit documents to the admissions committee should be answered - immediately after the school graduation.

    Carry documents in person or send by mail?

    Every institution of higher education wants more than random students to study there. Therefore, there is an unspoken screening of applicants:

    • those applicants who have personally appeared at the selection committee have an advantage;
    • brought the originals of the documents required upon receipt, and did not send them by e-mail.

    Thus, any university wants to get those people who are trying with all their might to get into their university or institute.

    How to enter a university?

    To begin with, it is worth preparing the documents. What documents are needed for submission to the admissions office?

    1. An application addressed to the rector, which contains information about the successful passing of the exam (as compulsory subjects for passing the exam, and those chosen by the applicant himself) with an indication of the results of the exams.
    2. Identity document, as well as the citizenship of the applicant.
    3. High school diploma.
    4. If an applicant enters a university after receiving secondary vocational or higher education, then you need to submit a document on vocational education or a diploma from the university on obtaining higher education.
    5. Photos in the amount of two pieces.
    6. Help on the 086-y form.

    In some cases, the following documents should be attached to the main documentation:

    Document on the recognition of foreign education It is necessary if the education was obtained abroad and the corresponding documentation on the received education was issued by another state
    Document confirming disability Needed to use the benefits if the applicant is disabled or to create special conditions at entrance tests if there is such a need
    Conclusion on the absence of restrictions for studying at a university A similar document is issued by the institution of medical and social expertise of the Russian Federation. Required for admission of disabled people of I and II groups, disabled children, disabled from childhood, as well as those who received disabilities during military service

    Other documents - depending on the category of the applicant.

    Medical documents for admission

    Medical documents for admission to the university include certificate 086. You can get such a certificate at the local polyclinic. If you decide to go through the medical examination on your own, then you will need to go through the following specialists:

    • therapist;
    • surgeon;
    • ophthalmologist;
    • neuropathologist;
    • endocrinologist;
    • otolaryngologist.

    If you do not want to stand in lines, then you can contact paid medical institutions.

    What are the benefits for admission?

    School graduates who have received honors or medals are admitted to the university bypassing the competition. Such applicants are interviewed.

    Some specialized universities adhere to the practice of enrolling such applicants on a general basis.

    • winners and prize-winners of the Olympiads;
    • winners of sports competitions;
    • members of international teams of the Russian Federation.

    Applicants who have advantages in admission to universities:

    • military National Guard;
    • children of employees of the National Guard;
    • liquidators of accidents at nuclear and radiation facilities.

    Individual achievement on admission

    Each graduate can use additional bonuses in addition to the USE - up to 10 points for various achievements. Such a right is given, for example, by a school medal, participation in competitions and olympiads, a gold TRP badge, a well-written graduation essay, and others.
