Does the exam in English be sure. English exam will be required: for or against? Experience overseas colleagues

In Russia, it is planned to introduce a mandatory unified State Exam (EEE) for a foreign language by 2022. Such a statement was made by the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov at an annual meeting to summarize the campaign of the EGE.

"From 2022, a foreign language will be introduced, we are already developing tasks. We take into account OGE results in order to be objective results. In 2021, we will probably have a mass approbation. If a foreign language is mandatory, it will be two-level. The fact that English will be divided into two levels, comes out of the standard of 2010, "explained Kravtsov.

This was previously stated by the Minister of Education Olga Vasilyeva. During the straight line with Russian President Vladimir Putin, she reported that it was planned to introduce a foreign language exam since 2022, and in 2020, try this project in 19 regions.

"The basic content of textbooks must be the same throughout the country": Minister of Education Vasilyeva - in an interview with RT

Russian Education and Science Minister Olga Vasilyeva in an exclusive interview with RT spoke about priorities in the development of the education system ...

Speaking about the situation with foreign languages in Russia as a whole, the minister in said that in the near future it is not planned to introduce a second mandatory foreign language, since this is a very large load on students and teachers.

"We cannot now afford two languages in all schools, we will not learn them! We need to know Russian well, which we know not very good. We need to know a foreign language well, it is desirable English - this is the language of international communication today, "said Vasilyeva.

"The right way"

Representatives of educational institutions are positively assessed by the ministry's initiative. According to the director of Moscow School No. 548, Efim Rachevsky, in the light of strengthening Russia's position in the international arena and the development of interaction with foreign countries, improving the quality of training in foreign languages is simply necessary.

"The right path of the Education Minister Olga Vasilyeva, she did it a year ago, when she said about it for the first time. Correctly makes Rosobrnadzor, which introduces this exam. Today, when we are talking about the need to build a digital economy, digital culture, new engineering, without language of international communication - and this is still English - it is impossible to do. But it is necessary to change the techniques and technology, textbooks, organize language practices, "he stressed.

The director of the school No. 606 is adhered to the same opinion with an in-depth study of English of Pushkinsky district, a member of the Association of the Best Directors of Russia Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Marina Shmulevich. In a conversation with RT, she explained that a foreign language by any specialist gives access to the international level and opens broad horizons.

"What the Minister of Enlightenment has suggested is reasonable. When a child comes out of the walls of the educational institution, he is ashamed not to know the international language. It cuts out the ability to be in the center of events, receive information, "explained the teacher.

According to Shmulevich, it is not so difficult to implement the program of the ministry "at a competent approach and, moreover, professionals will be engaged." In her opinion, it is necessary to take several levels of the exam: a more complex version will be given those for this, a foreign language profile, more light - those for whom it will only become auxiliary discipline.

"When the basic mathematics and profile introduced, no one moved to a special program, the database should know everything. I believe that with English should also be such a division, "the director of school No. 606 concluded.

Preparatory work

Member of the Central Staff of the All-Russian Popular Front, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Love Dukhanin said that for the implementation of the initiative would need to be treated in all areas.

"This costs not alone, but several comprehensive problems - the level of teacher training, the material and technical base, the quality of educational literature, the possibility of practicing with native speakers. In order for 2022 a year not turning low scores for most graduates, their (problems. - RT) It is necessary to solve now, "she emphasized.

Dukhanina also noted that today not all teachers have sufficient skills to prepare schoolchildren to the exam in a foreign language. Especially in rural educational institutions, some teachers in a foreign language "do not own in the perfection of phonetic and grammatical standards." It is necessary to change the content of textbooks, where the distribution of work in the classroom and at home is not well thought out.

"When we conducted a control purchase of the line of textbooks in English, sellers recommended together with a textbook and a working notebook to buy materials for the teacher and for the parent, since the practice of sales says that the child cannot do homework on its own, and the parent is even with knowledge Language without an instruction of the author will not be able to help him, "noted the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science.

In 2018, it was possible to pass the exam in English, French, German and Spanish. This was reported by the head of the Rosobrnadzor of Anzor Museaev.

"Applications for the passage of the oral part of the exam in foreign languages filed about 88.5 thousand people, of which more than 85 thousand were recorded on the English language exam," the departments are noted.

The obligatory exam in a foreign language will be easier for the current one. The tasks will develop so that a student of the most ordinary school itself can cope with them. They will be created on the basis of materials of All-Russian checks, which 11-graders write this year for the first time. To read and discuss the wide range of schoolchildren offering simple texts about Russia, from the tasks excluded essays and a letter. The obligatory exam in a foreign language for all graduates is planning to introduce in 2022.

According to Izvestia, the director of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurement of Oksana Reshetnikova, the mandatory USE is focused on the final school assessment of graduates studying a foreign language at the base level. It will be easier than the current state examination on the choice, which is written wishes to enter universities for some specialty.

The basis for the obligatory exam will be the tasks of All-Russian test work (PRD). This year, such final checksums are written graduates who study English, French and German.

This year, the tasks for the creation of written texts are not included in the UPR - this type of speech activity is least in demand for those who will not connect their profession with a foreign language, "Oksana Reshetnikova explained. - But the need for tasks to write text in the obligatory EGE is still being discussed.

The meaningful part of the current EGE and PRD differs. Now graduates who choose the final certification of a foreign language, research on the exam is offered by popular science texts. In the UPR and, accordingly, the future "lightweight" ege - the texts of Russia and the life of the Russian schoolboy. According to the developers, it is important that any graduate can tell about himself and their country. They were guided by the principle of "Dialogue of Cultures", which requires the abilities to "submit their own culture at the studied foreign language," explained Oksana Reshetnikov.

mandatory exam in foreign languages for 2018-2022. Not yet decided whether (and how) the exam will be divided into two levels - for those who need it for admission to the university, and those who do not need.

Today, the exam in a foreign language consists of two parts - written (40 tasks for three hours, including essay, letter, listening) and oral (four tasks in 15 minutes).

»The head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov stated that the decision on the introduction of a mandatory USE for a foreign one from 2022 will not be revised. The head of the service acknowledged that schools have problems with resources, but noted that they are not solved by transferring them.

The complexity of tasks for the mandatory USE must comply with the average school level, explained to Izvestia. Associate Professor of the Department of Phonetics and Vocabulary of English MPGU Evgenia Bid. In her opinion, if the graduate mastered the school curriculum, he would not have problems on the exam. To do this, everything is necessary - the task of teachers, emphasized Evgeny Bida.

In addition to simplified examination materials, one of the ways to solve the problem of implementing a mandatory exam in a foreign language is to introduce a low minimum score. It will be determined when studying the level of knowledge of Russian schoolchildren, which will help all-Russian checks.

Now 8-9% of graduates are chosen by the exam in a foreign language annually. These are those who are going to enter linguistic and related specialties. The level of owning the language of the remaining graduates was previously not checked at the federal level.

Help "News"

This year, the Arms of Russian Schools (12 thousand), director of the Federal Institute of Education Assessment (Foco) Sergey Stanchenko, told Izvestia to Izvestia.

In mandatory, they are written only to students of the fourth and fifth grades, and six- and 11-graders - at the discretion of the school. To place annual marks, use the results of the VDP is not recommended, informed "Izvestia" in Rosobrnadzor.

In total, the parents of schoolchildren are addressed to our school with a request to prepare future graduates to the English language 2018. Therefore, we decided to write a detailed article in which we will tell you how to prepare for this exam: Consider its structure and give practical advice for the successful passing of each part of the EGE And also imagine the best textbooks and online resources to prepare for this difficult test.

What is an ege in English 2018

EGE in English 2018 is a graduation exam at school, which is counted as an entrance exam in the university, so it is so important to pass it on a high score. While this exam is not mandatory, but if the graduate is going to enter the profile university, he needs to go through this test.

According to the structure and level of the complexity of the USE, it looks like an international FCE exam. This means that for successful delivery, the student must have a level (above average). This is a high step, so we recommend starting to prepare for the exam in English already from the 10th grade, then for 2 years the schoolboy will be able to master the entire required amount of material at a normal pace.

In principle, you can prepare for the surrender of the exam and for 1 year, but only if at the time of the beginning of the preparation, the student is already in English at the level (medium). Do not know how a graduate possesses? Then suggest it to pass.

How is the exam in English in 2018? The exam consists of written and oral parts, which are held on different days. In one day, schoolchildren hand over the written part, it includes such sections: audience, reading, letter, grammar and vocabulary. In total, on this day, a graduate needs to perform 40 tasks for 180 minutes. The student can get a maximum of 20 points for each of the sections. Thus, for this day you can score 80 points.

The second part is oral - passes on another day and rent as desired. It lasts only 15 minutes and consists of 4 tasks. On this day, a graduate can earn another 20 points. We strongly advise all graduates to hand over the oral part: in case of unsuccessful answers, you do not lose anything, but in case of successful - earn additional points.

Thus, the graduate on the exam may score a maximum of 100 points. The minimum score for passing the exam is 22 points.

Below we will present the table of the translation of the scam points in English into a five-point system.

The results of the exam are usually published 14 days after passing the second part of the exam, but in some cases they are already known in 12 days. You can learn your results on the official website of the EGE by filling out all the necessary fields. Paper certificates of the USE were canceled in 2014, so only electronic certificates are now available.

The structure of the EGE in English 2018 and the principles of successful passing of each part

In this chapter, we will tell you in detail about what tasks will be to execute a graduate in each of the parts of the exam. In addition, we will give advice from our teachers who prepare schoolchildren to pass the exam. By the way, if you are looking for a teacher who will prepare your child for the exam, pay attention to. They have been doing this not the first year already and developed their successful training strategy, they know which pitfalls are waiting for schoolchildren and how to get rid of these errors on the exam.

As an example, we will present you a demonstration version of the EGE in English, provided by the official site of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurement FIPI.ru.

Audition

The audience lasts 30 minutes and consists of three parts. The first two parts are the first and second task, respectively, and the third part is tasks number 3-9 (from the general list of 40 tasks).

The audit in English in 2018 includes 3 audio united in one entry. The examiners include the entry and do not stop it until the end, but there are pauses between the fragments to read the tasks and transfer of the responses to the blank. For each correct answer in this and the rest of the exam, the student receives 1 point. Let's see that the graduate will have to do on audit.

Exercise 1: Given 7 statements. The student listens to 6 statements and relates them with allegations, one of which is superfluous.

6 points.

Example:

Auditation, Task 1

Task 2: Given 7 statements. The schoolboy listens to the dialogue and determines which statements correspond to the content of the dialogue (true), which do not match (false), and which are not mentioned in it (not stated).

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Auditation, task 2

Task 3: There are 7 questions, each of them is offered 3 options for answering. The student listens to the audio recording and selects the right answer to each question.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Auditation, task 3

Our advice:

1. When preparing for the exam, you need to perform as much as possible tasks for listening in the examination format. So a graduate will get used to quickly read tasks and capture keywords in speech that will help to find a right answer.
2. When choosing a response, it is necessary to rely on the words mentioned in the speech, but in the meaning of his words. So, for example, in his speech, he can certainly mention all the answers to the task, but if you understand this, you can understand that the correct answer is only one.

Reading

Reading lasts 30 minutes and consists of 3 parts (9 tasks). For each part we advise to spend no more than 10 minutes to meet the allotted half an hour.

Exercise 1: Given 7 short texts (3-6 sentences in each) and 8 headlines. You need to read texts and pick up each of them the corresponding header. At the same time, 1 header will be superfluous.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Reading, Task 1

Task 2: Dan text in which there are 6 passes. Below is given 7 passages, 6 of which you need to insert into place of skips.

Maximum number of points: 6 points.

Example:

Reading, Task 2

Task 3: Dan a small text and 7 questions to it. To each question there are 4 options for answering, from which you need to choose 1 correct.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Reading, Task 3

Our advice:

1. When executing the first task, you need to look for keywords that will indicate the meaning of the text and help you find the desired title. In addition, often the basic meaning of paragraph is reflected in the first sentence, and some small details are given in the rest. Therefore, in some cases, you just need to read the first sentence carefully to correctly perform the task.
2. To successfully fulfill the second task, it is necessary to understand how complex offers are built in English. The fact is that the missed part in most cases is part of a complex or complex proposal. For example, if a schoolboy understands that in the appropriate proposal of WHO is used in relation to people, Which - objects, and where - places, it will be able to fulfill most of the tasks. You also need to repeat, for example, that infinitive is used to express the goal.
3. In the third task, questions are located in the order in which they are answered in the text. That is, the answer to the first question will be at the beginning of the text, and not in the middle or end, the answer to the second question is after the response to the first and so on.

Grammar and vocabulary

This section of the EGE in English 2018 checks the knowledge of grammatical structures and a graduate vocabulary. On his implementation, the student is given for 40 minutes. Let's see what to do a schoolboy.

Exercise 1: Data text in which 7 words are missed. To the right of the text, the words you want to convert grammatically (for example, put the verb at the right time) and insert the pass.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Grammar and vocabulary, Task 1

Task 2: Dan text with 6 passes. On the right are the words that need to be transformed and lexically, and grammatically - to form a single word, suitable in meaning to the text.

Maximum number of points: 6 points.

Example:

Grammar and vocabulary, Task 2

Task 3: Dan text with 7 passes. You need to pick up each of them 1 is the right version of the response from the four offered.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Grammar and vocabulary, Task 3

Our advice:

1. Transformation of the word in the first part, as a rule, occurs according to the following principle. If you are given a verb, it needs to be either used in the right time, or to put in the correct form of collateral (active or passive), or to form communion from it. If adjective is given, it is necessary to put it in a comparative or excellent degree. If you need to change the numerical, most likely, you need to make it ordinary.
2. In the second part, the knowledge of suffixes and consoles is mainly checked, including negative, the ability to form different parts of speech from a single word.
3. In the third part, the knowledge of the combination of words, the so-called collocations is most often checked. In addition, out of 4 words you will need to choose the most suitable in meaning, that is, you need to know the difference between similar words, read in the context.

Letter

For writing and checking 2 written works, a graduate is given 80 minutes.

Exercise 1: Dan text of a short letter from a friend in which questions are asked. The student needs to read it and write a letter-answer: answer questions a friend and ask questions to him.

Volume: 100-140 words.

Maximum number of points: 6 points.

Example:

Letter, task 1

A letter to a friend is written in an informal style. The structure of this work is as follows:

1. We decorate the "cap"

In the upper right corner, we write the address: on the top line we indicate the city, under it - a country of residence. No need to write the street and house number: It may be regarded as disclosing confidential information, even if the address is fictional.

After the address we skip 1 line and write the date of writing the letter all in the same upper right corner.

Further, as usual, on the left we write the unofficial appeal: DEAR TOM / JIM (the name will be given in the task). Here is unacceptable to write Hello. After the appeal, we put the comma and continue to write the text of the letter from the new line.

2. Text of the letter

Each paragraph begins to write from a red string.

In the first paragraph you need to thank a friend for the received letter (Thanks a lot for your Last Letter) and apologize that you have not written before (Sorry I Have't Been in Touch for So Long). You can also mention some fact from the received letter.

In the fourth paragraph, you need to sum up - report that you finish the letter (I'Ve Got to Go Now! It's Time for My Favourite TV Show), and offer to keep in touch (Take Care and Keep In Touch!).

3. End of letter

At the end you need to write the final phrase-cliché, after which the comma is always put: all the best, best wishes, etc.

On the next line under this phrase, you specify your name.

Task 2: Approval (usually controversial). The graduate writes an essay, which argues on this topic, expresses his point of view, and also leads the opposite opinion and explains why he disagrees with him.

Volume: 200-250 words.

Maximum number of points: 14 points.

Example:

Letter, task 2

Essays are written in neutral style and consists of 5 paragraphs:

1. Entry: we formulate the topic problem and immediately indicate that there are two opposite points of view.
2. Your opinion: I express your point of view (one) on this issue and give 2-3 arguments that confirm it.
3. Opposite opinions: We write 1-2 opposite points of view and give arguments in favor of their existence.
4. We express disagreement: explain why they do not agree with the above points of view, and give arguments to defense of our own opinion. At the same time, they should not repeat the arguments from paragraph 2.
5. Conclusion: We conclude on this topic, we indicate that there are different points of view, and finally confirm your point of view.

Our advice:

1. Adhere to the required volume. Permissible to deviate by 10% from the specified number of words, that is, it can be written from 90 to 154 words in the letter and from 180 to 275 - in the essay. If a graduate writes at least 1 word less (89), it will be given 0 points for the task. If the limit is exceeded, the examiner counters 140 words in the letter or 250 in the essay and will evaluate it, and it will take off the score for incomplete work, design task, disclosure of the topic, etc.
2. Avoid paragraphs consisting of one sentence, you need to supplement and argue every idea. To do this, you can use the designs in My Opinion, I Believe and so on.
3. Follow the style of written works: in the letter are permissible expressions like Guess What? Or Wish Me Luck! And in the essay it is better to adhere to a more formal style. It is important not to overdo it with
all sorts of well, Cause and slang expressions are unacceptable.
4. Use ligament words, they make text logical, allow you to supplement or oppose sentences.

Oral speech

The oral part of the exam is the shortest, it takes only 15 minutes. The graduate must have time to perform as many as 4 tasks for which you can get a maximum of 20 points. The student gives jobs before the computer, its answers are recorded using the headset, and the time is shown on the screen. In the audience, at the same time there is an organizer who follows the progress of the exam.

Exercise 1: The screen displays the text of a popular science character. For 1.5 minutes, it is necessary to prepare and expressively read it out loud to the next 1.5 minutes.

Lead time: Not more than 3 minutes.

Maximum number of points: 1 point.

Example:

Oral speech, Task 1

Lead time: About 3 minutes.

Maximum number of points: 5 points.

Example:

Oral speech, Task 2

Task 3: Show 3 photos. You need to select 1 and describe it on the plan proposed immediately in the task.

Lead time: About 3.5 minutes.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Oral speech, Task 3

Task 4: Dana 2 pictures. It is necessary to compare them, describe the similarities and differences, explain why the chosen theme is close to a graduate.

Lead time: About 3.5 minutes.

Maximum number of points: 7 points.

Example:

Oral speech, Task 4

Our advice:

1. Use online Exam Exam On the site injaz.ege.edu.ru. He fully imitates the exam, so you will get acquainted with the format and understand that specifically you need to do what time is to fit, etc.
2. To work out the first part of the exam you need take texts of different topics and learn to read them with the right expression: In speech there must be pauses, logical accents, natural intonation. In addition, the graduate must be placed in a minute and a half, because the score decreases if the text is not despicable to the end. However, it is also impossible to hurry too, because it is not checked for reading speed, but the ability to express text to expressively.
3. To successfully execute the second task, you need learn to ask questions for various texts. In principle, the assignment itself is elementary, most errors are associated with the loss of auxiliary verb or incorrect agreement with nouns. This problem is easily solved with the help of multiple exercises to draw up issues.
4. In the third task, examine you need to select 1 photo from 3 offered and describe it. Here are our main advice - carefully read the task. The fact is that it changes slightly every year, so learn to respond accordingly according to the formulations of 2018. In 2018, graduates have to describe a photo to a friend, that is, in a monologue should appeal to him. In addition, it is necessary answer all questions in the taskFor example, if Where and When The Photo Was Taken says, you need to answer both questions - where and when. At the beginning, it is necessary to report on which photo will be speaking (I'Ve Chosen Photo Number ...). Do not forget about the introductory (Would you like to have a look at my picture? / I'd like to show you a a picture from my photo album.) And final (THAT'S ALL FOR NOW. / I Hope You Liked My Picture.) phrases that make speech logical.
5. In the fourth task you need to do the main focus in speech on a comparison of picturesrather than their description. It is necessary use speech cliches: The First Picture Depicts ... Whereas / While The Second Picture Depicts ..., The Main Difference Is That ..., in Comparison to the first picture, this one ... etc. More similar speech clichés you Learn with the help of our article "phrases for comparison and opposition."

1. The Macmillan Exam Skills For Russia series includes books on the preparation for each part of the USE. Thanks to authentic texts and tasks, this series is one of the best for preparing for exams. These books are quite complex, so we recommend schoolchildren on them with a level not lower than Intermediate.

Our teacher Natalia has already prepared no one dozen honors to the exam in English, in his article "Exam, Be Good to Me, or how to successfully pass the EGE in English" it shares personal experience and graduates.

So now you imagine the volume of work and know the secrets of the successful passing of the EGE in English. We wish all graduates of light exams and high points! And if you have not found a suitable teacher, sign up for us.

Very soon, the exam in a foreign language will become mandatory. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has already confirmed plans to approbate a new exam. First of all, we are talking about English, although graduates studying other languages, the innovation will also affect. In this article, we will analyze the most frequent questions that students and their parents arise at the obligatory foreign exam.

From what year will the mandatory EGE in English be introduced?

EGE in English and other foreign languages will be required for all graduates in 2022. However, in the next 2020, it is likely that graduates of 11 classes in 19 regions of Russia will be trial. The specific list of regions is not published in open print.

What to expect from the mandatory ege in English in 2020?

The exam that will be mandatory in 2020, it is unlikely to undergo changes compared to the current EGE. It consists of two parts: written (40 tasks that need to be completed in three hours) and oral (four tasks to which are given 15 minutes). A graduate demonstrates the ability to read, speak and write in a foreign language. So far, the fundamental changes in the structure of the Ministry of Efficiency did not announce.

During the oral part, which usually surrenders in a separate day, the teenager reads text out loud, formulates questions, describes the picture and compares the events depicted in two photos. Answers are written to the computer using the headset (the timer on the screen is counting time), afterwards the records listen to experts. The organizer is present in the audience, which is watching that the EGE passed without disorders.

The written part is more extensive. It includes auditioning (you need to listen to the task on it), reading (you need to explore the texts and entitled them), grammar and vocabulary (the ability to put the verb at the right time, form different parts of speech, choose the words suitable). In addition, a graduate is offered to write an answer to the letter of an imaginary friend and an essay on a given topic.

How difficult will there be a mandatory exam in English?

Experts are still working out approaches to the level of complexity. Much depends on the results of All-Russian test work in a foreign language, which eleven graders will first surrender in March 2019. Testing will show how schoolchildren own the language.

At first, the experts assumed that the mandatory state examiner would share the basic (for receipt of the certificate) and the profile (for admission to certain specialty in universities) and the basic will be easier at times: in particular, it will exclude an essay from it and a letter to a friend.

In the fall of 2018, Olga Vasilyeva, Minister of Enlightenment, announced that separation would not be. At the same time, most teachers believe that the mandatory exam should be designed for the average level of language proficiency.

Be that as it may, schoolchildren, who have so far paid little attention to a foreign language, have to tighten their knowledge.

Why are you introducing a mandatory exam in English in 2020?

The advantages are obvious: children will appear incentive to make a foreign language more closely, and teachers improve the quality of learning. So far, in Russia, a foreign language in the form of EEG is given only about 11% of graduates (95% - English, less than 3% - German, less than 1% and 2%, respectively - Spanish and French). These are those who decided to continue their studies on linguistic and related specialties. The rest in high school focus on other subjects. Without constant quality practice, someone else's language is quickly forgotten. But knowledge of languages today is necessary in many industries - journalism, sociology, political science, economics.

But it is worth considering that the level of learning in languages in different schools can differ radically. Children who did not receive good preparation will be forced to crash up, engaged in tutoring or on group courses. Self-preparation is suitable only to schoolchildren with a good database.

How to prepare for the obligatory exam in a foreign language?

The most effective method is immersion in the linguistic environment. Optionally carry a teenager abroad: it is possible to maximize his foreign language at home. Watch with the child movies and videos without translation (can with subtitles), arrange "English days" when the family will speak only in a foreign language. Offer a schoolboy to translate your favorite songs. Every day, learn about several new words with him - let him not only remember them for rumor, but he will write to the notebook. Permanent reading in a foreign language will help to remember how words are written and offers are written.

If home learning is not enough, you will have to resort to the help of specialists. It is important to choose a tutor, which already has the experience of preparing the guys to the exam. And you need to look for a teacher not two months before testing, but ideally for the year or even two.

The most frequent mistakes of graduates on the exam in a foreign language

The most difficult for schoolchildren is a written part, especially essay. Specialists of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements noted that the guys replaced the original thoughts of stamps, allow logical errors, poorly reveal the topic. Performing tasks for grammar and vocabulary, graduates often use the verb in the wrong time, confuse pronouns and numeral, illiterately build phrases. Experts advise students to train not separate phrases, but connected texts in various genres.

Since 2022, graduates have to be given already three mandatory objects on the exam, many know. In the Ministry of Education, they are confident: without a foreign language - nowhere, and therefore it is necessary to study it seriously and responsibly (and take, respectively, will also be at the level). What will be the mandatory EGE in English?

The information portal of the newspaper "Izvestia" talked with experts - Oksana Reshetnikova (Director of the Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements), Maria Verbicky (Head of the Federal Commission for the Development of KIM) and Irina Rezanova (Department of Foreign Languages Department of Languages HSE). We summarize the main ideas and draw conclusions.

Already in the 2018-2019 school year, eleven graders are waiting for innovation - mandatory All-Russian Inspection Work (UPR) in English. This "training" before the obligatory exam in 2022. According to statistics, an average of 10 percent of graduates donated a foreign language as a selection of choice. However, foreign language proficiency is one of the key requirements for young professionals in many companies and institutions. Experts argue that the introduction of a mandatory exam in a foreign language will give schoolchildren the necessary incentive, and in the future - excellent prospects for career growth.

The main theses put forward by experts:

1) It is necessary to leave the grammatical and transferable method of teaching foreign languages. Some teachers speak very little in a lesson in a foreign language, because they were taught differently as teachers they were formed in another paradigm. As a result, we get a situation where the language is studied from the 1st grade, and at the output of "London Is the Capital ...".

In Sweden, the English profic by 71%, they rank first in the world. How did they achieve it?

Lydia Lagger, a student of the University of Uppsala (Sweden), a Swedish teacher in Moscow: "We taught English from the first class. Every year passed the exam. In the gymnasium, the last exam is the most difficult. We handed over mathematics, Swedish and English. But we did not think about English because they taught him for many years. Of course, learning begins with grammar, but then we speak a lot, watch movies. The most important thing is to learn how to talk correctly so that there is no fear".

2) The profile exam (which already exists) is not planned to be changed. This exam will continue to select the most prepared graduates for specialized universities. In the current in-depth exam, there are tasks from the level A2 + to B2 at the European School. 100 points are B2 in the present exam and, probably, will remain. Today 22 is a minimum score. A student who normally engaged in school and performed homework, easily takes this bar.

3) In the obligatory exam in a foreign language, the oral part will also be in the basic, and in the profile level. In the "Letter" section of the current EGE, two tasks (personal writing and a detailed written statement with elements of the argument "My opinion"). The changes in the profile level is not planned, it is not yet available about the basic exam.

4) The basic exam will look like an HDD for 11 classes. It will appreciate the knowledge in the range from A1 to B2. To pass this exam, you need to be able to read, understand simple authentic texts.

5) The obligation of the exam will be incentive and motivation not only for teachers and school administration, but also for students. They will understand that they will definitely check on cuts and at the end of training. Now the social situation itself, the digital economy move us to the study of foreign languages. What could be a digital economy without inclusion in world processes? It's impossible.

6) language teaching should be focused on the context, the use of knowledge in real speech practice. In the textbooks that we basically use, give situations, cut off from real life. Children arises a question where to apply a difficult time, a complex grammatical design. There are no answers to the answer tutorial, the rules extended from the context.

7) There should be a smaller number of students in the language group. By law, the class can be divided into groups only if it is not less than 26 students.

8) Testing to tests should not be!FiPi and Rosobrnadzor are struggling with the approach - "you need to prepare for the exam." Parents must understand: if the learning process is controlled by them, then it is not necessary to prepare for anything - you just need to study from 1 to grade 11, and not only from September 1 to May 31 in the 11th grade to try to master the whole school program.

It is important to realize: a foreign language is a mandatory subject that is not just to pass, but also use in life. And the main task of the ministry is to ensure equal conditions to all.

9) after all approbation research , no later than August 2021, projects of demonstration options for KIM EGE basic and in-depth levels will be published. A demonstration version of the All-Russian verification work for the 11th grade of this year is posted on the website of the FIPI wide access from November last year.

Children need to be tuned to study: regular, normal, with homework. Watch movies in English, listen to songs. For young people there are clubs, a cafe, where they speak English. And the most important parents are not to force fears. Do not create a stressful situation, an excitement. Life does not end with the exam.
