EA Sports UFC Walkthrough - Some helpful tips. Ultimate Fighting Rules: UFC and Pride How to kick in ufc

We continue the cycle of articles on the organization UFC... This time we will talk about basic rules of the UFC, as well as the restrictions associated with these rules.

UFC Rules have evolved a lot since the very beginning of the promotion. It all started like real fights without rules with almost no prohibitions, and today there is a whole UFC rulebook, which turns fights into real mixed martial arts fights.

Below we will look at the basic rules and UFC bans as well as their evolution.

According to the rules UFC the fight takes place in an octagonal cage (octagon) between two opponents of the same weight category. In addition to special gloves and shorts, athletes should not wear anything. Also a mouthguard and a protective groin shell are required, the presence of which is checked by the referee before the fight. The fight can end with: knockout, voluntary submission, technical knockout, technical submission, unanimous decision of the judges, split decision, draw or declared invalid.

In all fights according to the rules UFC a ten-point scoring system is used. Three judges calculate points each round, assessing the skill of the fighters. The winner gets ten points, the loser gets nine or less. Also points can be deducted for violations.

According to the mandatory rules in UFC before the fight, all athletes are required to undergo a medical examination and obtain admission. After the end of the tournament, the athletic commission randomly takes samples from the fighters for the content of prohibited substances. The list of prohibited substances includes drugs and various anabolic steroids.

UFC Rules Allowed blows, throws, techniques and actions aimed at the opponent, which are not prohibited by the list below. Among the rules UFC there are a number of actions prohibited for fighters, such as:

    1. Head bangs
    2. Gouging eyes
    3. Bites
    4. Grabbing the hair
    5. Grabbing the cheek
    6. Groin attacks
    7. Sticking fingers into holes on the body (nose, ears, etc.)
    8. Intentional cuts or wounds
    9. Any manipulations with small joints (hands, fingers)
    10. Hits to the spine and the back of the head
    11. Downward strikes using the sharp point of the elbow (known as "12-6")
    12. Throat blows, trachea grab
    13. Scratching, pinching, or twisting the skin
    14. Grasping the clavicle
    15. Opponent kicks to the head on the ground
    16. Knee strikes on the ground
    17. Trample an opponent
    18. Heel kicks to the kidneys
    19. Sticking an opponent into the mat upside down or with the neck
    20. Throwing an opponent out of the cage
    21. Holding the opponent's shorts or gloves
    22. Spitting on an opponent
    23. Holding on the fence
    24. Obscene expressions in the octagon
    25. Attacking an opponent during a break
    26. Attacking an opponent under the care of the referee
    27. Attacking the opponent after the gong that signaled the end of the round
    28. Vicious disregard for referee instructions
    29. Throwing out towels during a race

Over time UFC rules changed noticeably under the pressure of politicians, organizers, spectators and sometimes fighters. Below are the major milestones of the changes.

    • Ufc 1- Despite the fact that the event was called fighting without rules, there were restrictions: it was forbidden to bite, squeeze out the eyes, and manipulate small joints. Fights ended only as a result of knockout or surrender of the opponent.
    • Ufc 3- The referee got the opportunity to stop the fight if the fighter stopped consciously defending himself and scored a technical knockout.
    • Ufc 6- The referee got the opportunity to resume the fight in a standing position, in case of insufficient activity of the fighters on the ground.
    • Ultimate Ultimate 1996- Introduced a ban on clinging fingers to the fence.
    • Ufc 12- The main tournament is divided into heavy and light heavyweight divisions. The tournament grid of eight participants has been canceled. A fight for the champion title has been introduced.
    • Ufc 14- Special open-toed gloves weighing 4 to 6 ounces become mandatory.
    • Ufc 15- A ban has been introduced on head strikes, strikes in the groin, elbow strikes on the neck and in the head, kicks from a recumbent opponent, strikes on painful points and pulling the hair.
    • Ufc 21- Introduced five-minute rounds. Non-title fights last three rounds, title fights - five. A ten-point grading system has been introduced, similar to that used in boxing.
    • Ufc 28- Introduced division into weight categories, equipment restrictions and more stringent medical requirements for fighters.
    • Ufc 31- Weight categories have become what they are now. The former lightweight became welterweight. Middleweight became light heavyweight.
    • Ufc 43- If the referee stops the fight, the fight resumes in the same position in which it was stopped.
    • Ufc 94- Seconds are forbidden to carry Vaseline inside the octagon. Vaseline must be applied outside the cage with a cutman prior to the start of the first round.
    • Ufc 131- The non-title main fights of the evening are extended to five rounds.
    • Ufc 133- It is forbidden to go to battle in swimming trunks.

As you can see UFC rules have changed markedly since 1993 and, perhaps, will continue to change further. For you and me, the main thing is that the duels do not lose their spectacularity and continue to delight the common spectator. This article on the UFC rules will change depending on the changes in the rules of the organization.

UFC for Android is a mixed martial arts competition.

The game is interesting in that it has to do with the real organization of the UFC, which is the organizer of mixed martial arts and martial arts competitions. All the participants in the battles that you will meet here are real people with real names, and similar appearance, who ever took part in these fights. Install UFC on Android and start meeting the participants.

    Spend energy on your victory.

We will participate in fights in the ring, demonstrating all our skills and signature combinations along the way. The game has a scale with energy, but the number of rounds played does not depend on it (even if it is at zero, you can continue the game). It is designed to boost your power. Before the start of each battle, we see the characteristics of our fighters and digital values are placed under their photos, for example, yours - 309, and the enemy - 311. So, if you use your energy to make this figure more than that of your opponent (even by two or three units) - you will significantly increase your chances of winning. In addition to these data, we will see our indicators on the screen - health, stamina and parterre (we cannot change these data manually). To feel more confident - pump individual hits. You can apply them only a few times in one round (depending on the level you have reached and on how much of these techniques you have accumulated).

Master the principle of striking and defensive maneuvers.

Entering the ring, it is very important to master the control of your hero. The blows are light (point pressing on the right side of the touch screen), medium-weight (pressed and held to the right side), heavy-duty (a combination of several taps). Do not forget that you need to dodge oncoming attacks (slide your finger to the left from the left side), and put blocks for defense (press on the left and right sides at the same time). Above each participant in the battle there are indicators of the level of damage. When it comes to zero, you can effectively knock out your opponent. Some players do not like that the developers did not draw the damage to the fighters. No matter how hard you hit or strike you, you will not see bruising and bruising. On the other hand, if you do not like rivers of blood, then the game will suit you completely.

Train your fighter is the path to success.

To enhance the player's capabilities, you need to buy special training kits. They include certain hits and combinations. The cost of such a set is a box of 2000 coins. It is possible to get them by reaching a certain level and unlocking the lock on such a chest. Each hit has its own card with the name: powerful hook, straight kick, knee kick in flight, etc. You can get each of these cards only after reaching a certain level.

If you want to win, train your fighter.

For each round won, you will receive a salary. With this money, pump the blows and the player. This is necessary in order to defeat fighters of different weight categories. When you have accumulated enough funds, you can change your hero and start pumping his special abilities.

Download UFC on Android. This is a game of good quality will help brighten up your free time.

Well, by popular demand from viewers, let's talk about the rules.

Of course, I will not cite here the official rules that occupy 48 Talmuds, but will only dwell on the most important thing.

    1. What is prohibited

Both organizations prohibit any self-harm in relation to:
    a. eyes (I will gouge out the blinkers)
    b. mouth (tear the mouth)
    v. groin area (beat in the groin, tear off the penis, crush the eggs - however, the cup is attached to the eggs, although it does not protect much against an accidentally flown knee)
    d. it is forbidden to bite
    e. to pinch
    e. to drag each other by the hair
    f. throat
    h. choke with your fingers (squeeze all sorts of carotid arteries or what other jugular veins there are, I do not really understand physiology)
and. do painful holds on separate toes and hands (gripping at least 4 fingers, it seems)
to beat in the back of the head
    l. hit the spine
    m. elbows from top to bottom (well, the beginning of the Kickboxer movie, I think everyone remembers)

Well, maybe I forgot, but not essential. now about the differences between UFC and Pride.

Elbow strikes to the head (standing) - ALLOWED IN UFC PROHIBITED IN Pride

But kicks and knees to the head of a lying opponent are, on the contrary, ALLOWED IN Pride PROHIBITED IN UFC... Wanderlei Silva was deprived of his main entertainment.

In general, the American format of MMA is largely due to the requirements of the athletic commissions of the states where the competitions are held, in particular the state of Nevada (Los Vegas).

Considering that standing elbows are rarely used - the Pride rules can be considered more hardcore - the UFC restriction on ground "n" pound with feet makes side mount work much more difficult and practically devalues the north side position ( see the post about positions on the ground)

    2. Duration of battle

Pride: 3 rounds, first round 10 minutes, second and third round 5 (total 20 minutes)
on the day of the Grand Prix finals, when the semi-finals and the finals are held at once, the semi-finals are held in a shortened format, without the third round.

UFC: 3 rounds of 5 minutes, title fight - 5 rounds of 5 minutes.

Pride imposes more stringent demands on fighters' stamina - a 10 minute first round is very serious.

    3. Arena

Pride: ring (I really don't know if it is completely identical to boxing - does anyone know?)

UFC: an octagonal arena (octagon) surrounded by a grid

In both organizations, it is forbidden to interact with the arena with the help of hands - to cling to the ropes of the ring, hold on to the net with your hands (you can lean on it without grabbing your fingers)

The ring certainly looks nobler, but the octagon, IMHO, is more functional as an MMA arena - it is much more spacious, and it does not have this idiotic situation when the judges are forced to lift the fighters so that they do not fall out, and move them to the center of the ring, and restore the position of the arms and legs, as it was before the movement.

The spaciousness of the arena and the absence of corners at the octagon give an advantage to fighters working on counterattacks, as well as with their feet - the ability to calmly circle around the opponent, break the distance, not be afraid that you will be squeezed into a corner. Many people think that the octagon is very suitable
