    The main means of monitoring and evaluating the educational results of students in ICT are tests and test tasks, which allow for various types of control: input, intermediate, midterm and final. The use of tests in the process of educational activities creates a situation of novelty in the verification of knowledge.

    Tests involve choosing one option for the correct answer or sometimes several answers. Included are tasks of increased complexity for establishing correspondence, detecting patterns, selection, additions by analogs, ratio. The test allows you to identify the level of certain mental operations in children: classify, compare, synthesize, analyze. They give an accurate quantitative characteristic of the level of student achievement in the subject. They help to identify the level of general development: the ability to apply knowledge in a non-standard situation, find a way to build a learning problem, compare correct and incorrect answers.

    The tests are developed taking into account the knowledge and skills that correspond to the program material. The results of the work should be summed up in such a way that the children have a real desire to improve their results. A child should not be afraid to make a mistake, because the path to knowledge begins with understanding what you do not know. In this regard, we can name the stages of joint controlling activity of the student and teacher: disclosure to the student of his achievements in learning (what happened), joint analysis of the causes of errors or shortcomings in work (why it did not work out), joint discussion of ways to correct errors and their prevention. The teacher enters the lesson points earned by the children into a special form, where all the points on a given topic or section are recorded, which makes it possible to compare the student's growth or decline in his activity.

    Tests are carried out both as separate control tests and at the initial stage of consolidating the acquired knowledge. This type of work for primary school students is quite difficult and requires them to be completely independent, good orientation in the educational material. Therefore, tests begin to be introduced only from the second grade. Before conducting the first test, it is necessary to acquaint students with the peculiarities of this type of work in a training lesson. The teacher, together with the children, performs several test tasks, explaining the procedure for working with the test. Introduces children to the rules for evaluating work performed. If the result is unsatisfactory, it is necessary to analyze the shortcomings together with the student and give the opportunity to perform the test again.

    In this section of the "Constellation of Excellences" website you will find control and measuring materials on the world around you that fully meet the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for primary school. The drop-down menu presents CMMs for different classes.

    Description of the tutorial

    FOREWORD
    The assignments in this collection are compiled on all topics of the course "The World Around" (by A. A. Pleshakov) for the 4th grade, but they can also be used when working on other teaching aids.
    Each job includes tasks of three levels.
    Tasks under the letter A allow the teacher to check the basic level of knowledge on the topic. For the correct answer to a question of this level, 1 point is given.
    Tasks under the letter B involve a more creative approach to the material, the ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships, analyze and generalize. For the correct answer to the questions of this level, 2 points are given.
    Tasks under the letter C differ from others in that there may be several correct answers, but there may be one. To complete the task, the child must know the answer to the question in full, be able to highlight significant moments, be able to classify objects according to given criteria, or vice versa, be able to determine the properties of objects. With the correct choice of all answers, students receive 3 points for the task.
    Evaluation of work is carried out according to the following criteria:
    from 40 to 60% of the maximum number of points - mark "3";
    from 60 to 80% - mark "4";
    from 80 to 100% - mark "5".
