The mother got hoarse, the daughter went deaf, the neighbors learned their lessons. This is not an anecdote, but a typical situation for many Russian families. Mom glues papier-mâché hand-made articles until 1 am, while dad and the baby solve math problems ... I didn’t turn in my work on time - "two" for everyone. And it's good if the tasks are adequate in complexity. And if not?

There were also such problems: "Think to whom and what the powders of good were poured into. Did the sorceresses add any powders to your food today?" Photo: Vesti.ru

Who are the screams? How is amphibrachium different from anapest? What role does detail play in a work of art? The answers to these questions should bounce off the teeth not only among students of the philological faculty, but also among my fifth-grader daughter, - says mother Yulia from Moscow. - Moreover, the teacher makes you cram literary terms and gives tests on them completely thoughtlessly, according to the alphabetical principle. Does my child need it right now? I don't think so. But what can be done in such a situation?

Third class, the surrounding world. Assignment: name the enterprises in your city that pollute the environment, and tell us how you are fighting this, make a presentation. Can a 9-year-old child handle this on his own? Fourth grade - grow a pumpkin from a seed in November, determine the case of a noun in the phrase "brewed some coffee" ...

Parents tell dozens of similar stories when the whole family is puzzled over the "homework". One can also encounter such a question in the testing work of a Moscow schoolchild: "How to determine from two soil samples, which of them is fertile?" Hint: heat both samples and smell, because organic matter in fertile soil smells bad when burning ...

In Novosibirsk, a music teacher at the "French" gymnasium No. 16 suggested that children choose a modern song and learn it. One of the students remembered "Vladimirsky Central". Most of his classmates supported him, and the teacher, oddly enough, did not argue. When the guys returned home and began to memorize this hit, the indignation of their parents knew no bounds. The assignment was eventually canceled, and the teacher was reprimanded. In Rostov, the case is even more "fun".

The drawing teacher decided to master graffiti with the children. I talked about Banksy's work for a long time, showed really interesting works by contemporary artists, says my mother Natalya Belousova. - Then he asked everyone to bring sketches, and whoever could, then photographs of finished works. The result was unexpected. Our son not only made a sketch, but also decided to implement it. In the evening, the formidable janitor brought Ilya home and said that if he saw him painting on the fence again, he would turn him over to the police.

The mother got hoarse, the daughter went deaf, the neighbors learned their lessons. This is not a joke, but a typical situation for many Russian families.

According to the RG survey, more than half of parents have faced controversial homework assignments at least once. Almost the same number admit that they do their homework with the whole family, and 76 percent believe that the child is overloaded with studies beyond all measure.

Modern children know the peculiarities of the digestion of the May beetle and all 15 currents of the Atlantic Ocean. They know how gastropods differ from cephalopods, how sedimentary rocks differ from volcanic ones. A typical situation: solve 20 examples, study two paragraphs, write an essay on literature - and this is only part of the daily workload. As a result, lessons turn into a control and grading tool, and work in the classroom is replaced by work at home. In some schools, essays are even given on music and physical education. And parents sit in the evenings, download it all from the Internet ...

Meanwhile, there are important sanitary standards (SanPin): the "temporary" amount of homework in all subjects should not exceed 1.5 astronomical hours in the second or third grade, 2 hours - in the 4-5th grade, 2.5 hours - in 6-8th grade, 3.5 hours - 9-11th grade. And first-graders shouldn't have homework at all! Parents should be aware of these standards and require the school to comply with them.

By the way, often the problem with homework is connected not only with the work of a particular teacher and the human factor. But also textbooks, which still contain many errors. “We, parents, have to explain to their children at home what a cassette tape recorder or a rotary dial telephone, drawn in an English textbook, is. Mendeleev (after all, it expanded from 92 to 118 elements), "the National Parents' Association said in a statement.

Alikhan Dinaev, winner of the competition "Teacher of the Year of Russia-2018", teacher of social studies, public adviser to the minister of education:

A couple of days ago, my sister (the mother of a first-grader) showed a craft that she "finished at two in the morning." The funniest thing here is that children, as a rule, do not take part in this work at all, they sleep peacefully and sweetly while their parents persistently sculpt, glue, paint ... There is, of course, a great deal of parental vanity here. Dads, and especially mothers, fight to ensure that their child's work is the best. This is, of course, an overkill. Teachers are not required to create a "creative masterpiece". Yes, our kids are really overwhelmed with homework. This is confirmed by international comparative studies. So, in 2016, Russia ranked first in terms of time that children spend on homework - more than 10 hours a week. At the same time, studies show that the effect of homework in primary school is minimal or does not affect the performance of children in any way. In main school, the effect is small, and only in high school does it get higher. What are my homework assignments? Often none at all. I often ask you to read the next paragraph and repeat the topic covered. We have a rule at school - if the teacher gives homework, then it must be something creative. I can ask children in a group to prepare a business plan or project, provide a real case for thinking about the correct answer. And I can also ask children to watch a particular movie, play an educational game several times. In response, I hear joyful exclamations: "I wish everyone was asking this" homework. "

    Competently

Natalia Vinogradova, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor:

Many teachers have the misconception that everything that is written in a textbook should be known to a child by heart. This is an elementary illiteracy of the teacher. And from the point of view of didactics (theory of learning), and from the point of view of common sense ... In fact, in every textbook there is a minimum that the child must master (this is a satisfactory level), and a higher level - we call it the intellectual background of learning. It must be presented in the textbook, as it is designed for successful children who are passionate about the subject, for those who can easily cope with basic knowledge and skills. But this does not mean that a child must learn everything from a textbook by heart, especially at home with his parents. And memorizing literary terms in isolation from the texts is just a meaningless exercise. This principle of learning does nothing for the development of the student, at best it trains his memory.

As for the "Vladimir Central". Here again, the teacher's careless work is evident. The children chose this song, they developed an unsaid interest in the "prison" genre. But do not mindlessly follow the lead. You can explain where this genre came from, why it became so popular. Be sure to tell why not all music lovers included this song in the category of interesting and loved ones. And of course, without condemning the choice (!), Suggest choosing another hit, more worthy. Unfortunately, this is the mistake of many teachers - innuendo, inability to explain. Teachers leave the child alone with his thoughts, but he cannot cope with them alone.

With "street" creativity - the same story. There is a "fashionable" genre of graffiti, there are chic works in this pictorial manner, which are recognized all over the world. But, dear teacher, parent, explain to your child: in addition to freedom of creativity, there are also certain rules of behavior that a member of society must follow. Explain that its use is inappropriate in public places, especially if the drawings are not written by professionals. Why not allocate a special place in the schoolyard where children will show their creativity, compete in drawings.

    German language grade 6

    Workbook

    Averin, Gene, Rorman

    Education

Learning a foreign language opens up great prospects for students in the future. But so far they do not think about it yet, so they quite allow themselves to ignore any material. On the one hand, this can be understood, because too heavy loads force students to look for ways to alleviate their situation. And all objects that they consider unimportant are perceived by them superficially. But on the other hand, such negligence can lead to the fact that the discipline will remain undeveloped. That's why Reshebnik to the Horizonte series textbook "German language. Workbook grade 6" Averin, Jean, Rorman can be quite helpful.

What are included in the manual

There is a set of exercises on sixty-three pages, divided into seven thematic sections. Also, at the end of the collection, grammar rules are presented, which are given in a convenient format, which greatly simplifies their memorization. Detailed solutions in GDZ in German, grade 6 Averin will help not only to quickly check the d / s, but also to understand the mistakes made.

    Why you should use it

Although the Ministry of Education believes that it is enough for them to simply create a program so that schoolchildren begin to immediately implement it and study well, in reality it turns out differently. It often turns out that all the modifications and deviations only complicate the perception of the object for the guys, since they make them constantly distract from the essence. But since officials are not going to facilitate the learning process for students, they should, if possible, adapt to all the nuances of the modern program. Reshebnik to the Horizonte series textbook "German language. Workbook grade 6" Averin will help to cope with all the difficulties that arise, explain especially difficult moments when performing d / s, as well as help prepare for test work. "Education", 2016
