Patter for the development of speech in children. Working on individual sounds

Tongue twisters have been around for a very long time. They exist in many nations. Of course, tongue twisters were invented not for the development of speech and not for learning. Initially, their function was exclusively entertaining. During holidays or folk festivals, people simply gathered together and tried to quickly pronounce complex phrases with repetitive sounds. It sounded funny. Everyone had fun.

However, over time, the main task of tongue twisters has changed. Now the developing function of tongue twisters is of paramount importance. Although the entertainment factor has been preserved. After all, working with this version of folk art is fun and interesting for children.

What is a shorthand? Most often, this is a small rhyme or phrase with a large number of hard-to-pronounce words or combinations of sounds that need to be pronounced not only correctly, but also quickly. This is the reason for the development of speech. The child learns to master his own language, getting used to pronouncing even complex combinations of sounds quickly and clearly.

What is the difference between children's tongue twisters and other speech-developing exercises

Initially, there was no distinction between tongue twisters and tongue twisters. However, modern speech therapists have begun to clearly distinguish between these two concepts. Clean tongues are used mainly for practicing correct diction. They don't have to be spoken quickly. The main thing is to pronounce all sounds correctly and clearly.

Tongue twisters are conditionally divided into adults and children. The differences between them are quite minor. For a child, it is important that the phrase has a certain meaning and is fun. Otherwise, he will simply refuse to repeat it, because he will not understand what this “rhyme” is about or he will be frankly bored.

    The benefits of tongue twisters

The main benefit of tongue twisters is that they contribute to the development of the speech apparatus. As a result, the little man begins to speak more clearly, expressively and clearly. However, this is not the only advantage of such exercises.

Paradoxically, tongue twisters teach children to speak more slowly, pronouncing the endings of words. Indeed, in most cases, the child needs not only to quickly repeat the phrase, but also clearly pronounce all the syllables, otherwise it will be nonsense. Thanks to this, children learn not to "eat" the endings of words.

Tongue twisters develop memory well. After all, kids have to learn them. Moreover, pronouncing a tongue twister, the child comprehends what was said, and also compares various phrases with each other. And this is also a very good skill.

In addition, in the process of learning tongue twisters, the child gets used to listening to other people. After all, it is very difficult to understand a tongue twister if you do not concentrate on what has been said. This skill is very useful for future students to be collected, listen and understand the teacher.

And finally, playing with tongue twisters is just fun. It's very funny to hear your own and other people's mistakes along the way and difficult to pronounce, but quite simple in meaning phrases. This pastime in the parent + child format will be very useful for future relationships.

And finally, you can play with tongue twisters anywhere: at home, on the way to the kindergarten, and even on a long trip. Such entertainment would be appropriate at any children's holiday. Preschool children, and schoolchildren, are happy to be drawn into such fun.

How to work with tongue twisters

Now tongue twisters are actively used by speech therapists in their work. But this does not mean at all that parents cannot deal with the child on their own. And at the same time, it is not at all necessary that the child has problems with speech. In any case, additional training of the speech apparatus will not be superfluous.

When can you start learning tongue twisters? Yes, at almost any age. As soon as the child has learned to speak more or less, these short and funny rhymes can already be read to him. First, all the words must be pronounced very clearly and slowly, so that the child understands how to pronounce the words correctly. Gradually, the baby will get involved in the process and begin to repeat tongue twisters after mom or dad, and then he will tell them without much difficulty, and from memory.

By the way, you should not force the little man to repeat tongue twisters. He will start doing it himself as soon as he understands the essence of the game. At the same time, the task of parents is to create a cheerful atmosphere. Then the baby will quickly get involved in the process. And to make it even more interesting for the child, he can be asked to clap after pronouncing each syllable or “tap” the syllables with a ball.

But these are all general rules. If we move from words to practice, then work with tongue twisters can be divided into several separate stages:

    1. Learn a tongue twister . To do this, it must be pronounced slowly, clearly pronouncing both vowels and consonants. It is important that the child not only memorize all the words of the rhyme or phrase, but also learn to repeat them absolutely correctly.
    2. Correct articulation . After completing the memorization process, you can proceed to the next - voiceless stage. To do this, you must also slowly and clearly repeat the tongue twister, but silently. In this case, the articulatory apparatus (tongue, lips and teeth) should work. The purpose of this exercise is to achieve correct articulation.
    3. whispering . This stage also does not require fast pronunciation. In this case, you need to pronounce the tongue twister in a whisper. At the same time, the task of parents is to make sure that the child is whispering, and not “hissing”. All words must be pronounced clearly and legibly.
    4. Slow repetition . Now you can start repeating the tongue twister from memory in full voice. However, the child should not be rushed. Let him first learn to pronounce the given phrase slowly, but qualitatively.
    5. Intonation changes . This is one of the most fun stages. The child should be offered to pronounce the tongue twister with different intonations, for example: in interrogative or exclamatory forms, cheerfully or sadly, thoughtfully or aggressively, singing or in different voices. Children love this game. By the way, at this stage, the speed of pronunciation is also not important. The main thing is to teach the child to use his voice.
    6. Directly tongue twister . And now you can start talking quickly. Here you can come up with a lot of tasks, for example: who will quickly say a tongue twister without errors or repeat a phrase without hesitation three or four times in a row, etc.

    Working on individual sounds

Tongue twisters are different, but they all have one goal - to work out a particular sound. Of course, if a child needs to work on diction, then you can work with any works of this type of folk art.

However, when identifying problems in the pronunciation of a particular sound, the emphasis should be on it. By the way, tongue twisters can also be useful when working with pronunciation when learning a foreign language. Fortunately, such speech fun is still "in use" not only among the Russian people.

Patter for the development of speech of children from 4 to 12 years

    For children 4-5 years old

At this age, most children experience problems with the pronunciation of the sounds [p], [l] and [l ’], as well as with hissing [w] and [s]. Therefore, the most suitable tongue twisters for this age are:

Grek rode across the river, he sees Grek - there is cancer in the river. He put the Greek's hand into the river, the crayfish by the Greek's hand.

Because of the forest, because of the mountains, grandfather Yegor is coming.

Carl stole the corals from Clara, Clara stole the clarinet from Carl.

Kolya stabs pricks. Fields field flight.

The cuckoo cuckoo bought a hood, the cuckoo put on a hood, how funny he is in a hood.

Large grapes grow on Mount Ararat.

There is grass in the yard, firewood on the grass, children on the firewood.

    The raven raven crowed.

A mouse has a rind in a hole of cheese.

Sasha walked along the highway and sucked dry.

    For children 5-6 years old

Usually at 5-6 years old, children cope well enough with all sounds. However, the diction of most of them needs to be worked on. And the following phrases will help with this:

The Buyan ram climbed into the weeds.

Have fun, Savely, move the hay.

Grandfather Dodon blew a tune, Grandpa hit Dimka with a tune.

Koval Kondrat forged steel, forged and reforged.

    Grandma bought Marusya beads.

Our chebotar is a chebotar for all chebotar, no one can change our chebotar.

One Klim wedge pounded, pounded and knocked out.

Wasp barefoot and without a belt.

Petr Petrovich, nicknamed Perepelovich, tamed a quail. A quail brought quail to Pyotr Petrovich Perepelovich.

In our backyard, the weather got wet.

    For children 7-8 years old

In principle, tongue twisters for older children are also more designed to improve diction. Their only difference is the increase in complexity:

The longboat arrived at the port of Madras. The sailor brought a mattress on board. In the port of Madras, a sailor's mattress was torn in a fight by albatrosses.

The hedgehog is huddled by the Christmas tree: he pricked himself on the needles. The tree shudders, trembling: it pricked itself on a hedgehog.

Red crab screams Hurray! It's time to cut the cake.

Mother Romasha gave whey from yogurt.

Mila washed the bear with soap. Mila dropped the soap. Mila dropped the soap. Mila didn't wash the bear.

On the way, Topal stomped, Topal stomped to Sevastopol. Well, Seva stomped nearby, Topal on the right, Seva on the left.

Larisa painted daffodils in watercolor. Natasha painted dahlias with gouache.

Sasha hit a bump with his hat.

Margarita collected daisies on the mountain, Margarita lost daisies in the yard.

Three black kittens from Tyomka the Mole stole three thin cardboard boxes in the dark.

    For children 9-10 years old

If simple and most often short rhymes are used for preschoolers and very young schoolchildren. Then older students can be offered to learn and pronounce complex and funny phrases or almost full-fledged poems:

The parrot says to the parrot:

    - I'll parrot you, parrot!

    The parrot answers him:

    - Parrot, parrot, parrot!

    Count Toto plays loto

    And Countess Toto knows about

    That Count Toto plays loto,

If Count Toto knew about that,

What does Countess Toto know about

    That Count Toto plays lotto,

That would be Count Toto never in his life

    I wouldn't play loto.

And not at all the usual strawberry jam.

But if you lived near the blackberry,

And if you lived near the strawberry,

And if you did not regret the time for the forest,

    That means excellent blackberry jam,

You ate strawberry jam every day.

Four black horses are not like the devil at all on the fourth Thursday of November.

    For children 10-12 years old

To train even older children, tongue twisters can be introduced, consisting of abstract concepts:

The tongue twister was quick to say: you can’t over-speak all tongue twisters, you can’t over-speak. But having begun to speak quickly, he nevertheless spoke out: you will over-speak all tongue twisters, you will over-speak.

    Short tongue twisters

The most popular among children and adults are short tongue twisters. They are easy to remember and fun to repeat. Here are just a few examples of such conversational exercises:

When learning tongue twisters, do not forget about their entertaining function. Even adults sometimes find it amusing to pronounce some difficult-to-pronounce folklore proverbs:

Dear readers, now I propose to recall funny tongue twisters for children. Each of us probably remembers how cheerful and funny they are, although sometimes it is not easy to pronounce them. But did you know that tongue twisters are not only good for fun, but also beneficial? They help develop the child's speech, teach to pronounce previously inaccessible sounds, improve diction.

Why don't we offer funny tongue twisters to children? Today on the blog we will introduce you to interesting and memorable tongue twisters for children and bring to your attention a selection of children's poems for classes with a child at home.

Hello dear readers of Irina's blog! Do your kids love tongue twisters? I’m sure if they don’t like it, then only for one reason - they simply don’t know them! Or they are still too small to pronounce such constructions. For the rest of the children, tongue twisters are a pleasant and very fun pastime, especially in combination with an outdoor game.

Are tongue twisters fun? Not only!

What is so special about tongue twisters? First, as expected, we turn to the dictionary. So, tongue twisters are a simple, rhythmic, often comic text, which is a certain combination of sounds that make it difficult to quickly pronounce words.

Most tongue twisters are a product of folk art, and they are passed down from generation to generation as a way to develop children's speech. And this is actually a very useful fun, because with the help of tongue twisters you can effectively correct the child's diction, as well as eliminate certain speech defects.

Most often, children are delighted with funny tongue twisters. The task of parents is to memorize several of them and apply them as often as possible in the game with the child. Tongue twisters can be spoken at different speeds: slow, medium speed, fast and very fast. But be sure to make sure that the child does not swallow syllables, makes sounds cleanly and clearly. Only in this case, the speech of the crumbs will develop correctly, and the tongue twisters themselves will be beneficial.

You can also play the following games with your children:

    • ask the baby, while pronouncing the rhyme, to beat the ball rhythmically from the floor or from the wall;
    • try to play in tandem with the child, taking turns pronouncing the lines from the tongue twister;
    • set the rhythm of the tongue twister by clapping your hands;
    • hold a competition, who will say the tongue twister faster and not go astray.

And now we present to your attention a selection of tongue twisters for children of different ages.

It's so easy and fun to teach a child to speak correctly. But do not force your son or daughter to cram tongue twisters! It is unlikely that you will get the result you need from under the stick.

Another thing is if you turn learning into a fun game. Together with your child, you can compose a fairy tale about some kind of sound, look for them in a tongue twister, build houses for them in the sand, and invent songs. And along the way, repeat tongue twisters.

There can be a lot of ideas, the main thing is to start, turn on your imagination and act! Try it and your child will be very pleasantly surprised. And you too, trust me.

I thank Anna for the material. From myself I want to add a few words. Working at the Theater Institute, we often encounter big problems in students' speech. They also learn tongue twisters. It is very difficult for both us and students to catch up and correct what could have been paid attention to in childhood. But correct, pleasant speech is what we always pay attention to when communicating with people.

Engage with your children in a fun, interesting, useful way! Yes, learn your own tongue twisters. I am sure that we will not be able to quickly pronounce everything ...

The purpose of the lesson: we study the letter E, the formation of reading skills, the development of speech skills, the improvement of phonemic hearing, the basics of an elementary graphic skill.

    • introduce the preschooler to the letter E, the correct pronunciation of the sound;
    • teach to write the capital letter E in the cells;
    • to form an interest in learning with poems and riddles.

The letter E is a vowel. Please remember this.

Consider the letter E. We sewed the letter E in the air and once in the notebook carefully in the cells with a simple pencil or ballpoint pen.

In cases where a child is asked to write a whole line of a letter, syllable or word, the adult gives a spelling pattern at the beginning of the line.
If a preschooler has difficulties, then an adult can draw two reference lines, or put anchor points that the child will connect with lines, or write the letters in their entirety, and the child will simply circle them in a different color. Calligraphy at this stage of training should not be required.

    Tale of the letter E

    Laundry "Egor and sons"
On the bank of a forest river, under the sign "Laundry - Yegor and sons." Every day early in the morning a family of raccoons sat down and a noisy laundry began. But somehow dad Yegor came up with the idea to call his sons by the old names that he read in his grandfather's book. The first son was renamed Elistrat, the second - Epiphany, and the youngest from Petka turned into Evlampy. And the laundry was up. In the morning, Papa Yegor began to remember who his name was:

This one... how is it? What did I call you? he asks the elder.
    - On E somehow ... Yelyuley, or what?
    - No, not Elyuley. And where did that name go? I put a cross here.

By evening, he could barely find his cross in the book, and there was no time to erase it already! Animals walk around in unwashed, and some even without clothes. But one day, while Yegor's dad was not around, the neighbor's hedgehog sarcastically asked the younger raccoon:

Petka or what about you?.. Yevpatorii! Folder's book weakly stretch?
    - Yes?! Nonsense!

And fearing to disgrace himself, Petka so diligently extended the book that he washed away all the letters. Papa Egor had to name his sons as before, and the laundry started working.
