Siberian Federal University passing scores. Sfu spoke about bonuses for applicants. The greatest chances of getting free training

    ????????????????????????????????????

This year, the largest university in Siberia has prepared a number of pleasant innovations for future students. The university has a strong reputation as an intellectual forge of highly qualified and in-demand personnel. Over the past years, it has been firmly included in the TOP 20 best universities in the country. Siberian Federal University. Therefore, the focus on attracting the best graduates to SFU is supported by various incentives for the “bright and clever”. This year, almost 6 thousand students will be able to enroll here on a budgetary basis. The executive secretary of the SFU admissions committee, Alexander Usachev, spoke about the priorities of the applicant campaign.

How many points are needed to enter Siberian Federal University, and how can you add a couple to your rating?

It is no secret that among universities there is a competitive struggle for the elite - the best graduates of schools and technical schools: medalists, graduates who receive a certificate or diploma with honors. Therefore, we have developed a system of priority support for them.

School graduates in most cases take three Unified State Examinations, each of which is worth 100 points. In addition to the main rating, they have the opportunity to earn up to 10 points for individual achievements. At Siberian Federal University, for example, from 1 to 10 points can be scored for sporting achievements, including passing GTO standards, 10 points - for a certificate or diploma with honors, from 2 to 5 points are awarded for participation in competitions, olympiads, university events that were held in throughout the year.

The last opportunity to earn extra points will be this summer. An express competition for applicants will start on June 20, for participation in which you can add 2 to 5 points to your rating. To summarize, I would like to emphasize that there can be many achievements, but they will not bring more than 10 points in total.

We expect the greatest competition for places in the areas of linguistics, architecture, computer security, economic security, international relations, jurisprudence, and oil and gas. It will be easier for those who pass the Unified State Exam in physics to enter the university. For admission to a good half of all specialties this subject is required, as a result of which the passing score for these specialties is around 150-160 points. For comparison: for “linguistics” and “international relations” the passing score is 260-270 points.

“A very significant change to keep in mind is the lack of a priority system for final admissions. As in previous years, each applicant can apply simultaneously to five universities and three specialties in each. Last year, a new document appeared - “Consent for Enrollment”, which must be submitted before the order for enrollment in only one specialty is issued. This point may be alarming for those who received so-called “semi-passing” or simply low scores.”

One more “pro” to add to the box

“There are also financial incentives for entering the Siberian Federal University. Increased scholarships are provided for students studying on a budget basis. So, if the average scholarship amount is 2 thousand rubles, then especially talented ones can qualify for payments of 10 thousand. A scholarship of 5 times the amount will be paid to the winners and prize-winners of school Olympiads. A priority set of specialties has also been determined (there are about 30 of them), where the scholarship has been increased by 50%. For students, this premium is significant. For the second year in a row, graduates who have passed the Unified State Exam in physics or computer science and whose rating is more than 210 points are awarded a double scholarship, and those with more than 240 points are awarded a three-time scholarship. In addition, for the first time, Siberian Federal University will support applicants who are winners of major sporting competitions with triple scholarships. In addition, there are regional programs to support talented applicants - additional payments to scholarships in the amount of five thousand rubles monthly. Medalists, winners of All-Russian Olympiads, and children who have a high score based on the results of three Unified State Examinations can apply for these funds.”

“Due to changes in the conditions of paid education throughout the country, our university does not have the right to make the cost of education lower than that established by the federal center, however, depending on the points scored, the cost is reduced by 10-50%. We have prepared a system for reducing tuition fees for paying students. So, for example, students who score more than 180 points on the Unified State Examination (upon admission to most areas of training) will be able to receive a 50% discount for the entire period of study, provided that they study “good” and “excellent”. The university is extremely interested in smart and strong students.”

How not to forget anything and manage everything

“The acceptance of applications for admission this year starts on June 20 and will last until July 26. And on July 27, rating lists of applicants for admission will be posted on the website and at the university itself. From July 28 to August 1, you need to finally decide, based on these lists, which will change daily, where to place the original documents: certificate, consent to enrollment. This will be the first wave of enrollment, which will determine 80% of those enrolled. The second wave will last from August 4 to 6.”

“In my opinion, it is difficult to find a university with a richer student and sports life. We have been repeatedly recognized as the best university in the country for various sports achievements; we have our own KVN league, theater studios, vocal and instrumental groups, bard associations, a rock club, dance groups, beatboxers and much more. There are all conditions for growth both personally and academically. At Siberian Federal University today there are open programs in 150 specialties and areas of training in all forms of education, there is a choice for everyone, today we have about 40 thousand students, and you can join their ranks! ”, Alexander Usachev invited everyone at the end of the interview graduates of schools and technical colleges of the country.

Start of summer express courses at Siberian Federal University

Summer express courses will start in June at the Siberian Federal University. The courses can be used by those who plan to enroll in both full-time and part-time studies and take exams directly at the university, and also choose the so-called creative specialties, where an additional fourth exam is provided.

Head of Pre-University Training Department Yulia Kontaryova: « Express courses are the shortest, summer courses last from 2 weeks to one month. Not every university has the opportunity to organize them at home, as this is associated with certain difficulties. In fact, express courses in general education subjects are the last opportunity before exams to systematize the knowledge acquired over the year or during self-study. It is also important that the classes are taught by experienced teachers of the Siberian Federal University, that is, the base obtained during the classes allows potential applicants to feel more confident in the exams».

    • Courses in general education subjects (mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, Russian language, literature, social studies, history, English) will be held with June 5 to July 7.
    • Courses in creative subjects (journalism, plaster head drawing, composition of geometric solids, drafting) will be held with June 29 to July 9.

Siberian Federal University is the largest university in Russia, located beyond the Urals. A wide range of areas of training (there are both technical and humanitarian) and modern equipment for scientific research fully justify the fact that SFU students easily find places for further employment.

For any applicant, such prospects are a real dream. A reasonable question arises: how to apply to Krasnoyarsk Siberian Federal University on a budget ? Detailed information can be found at university website . For those who are already dizzy from various documents and orders, we have created this text.

Admission to the Unified State Exam

    (c) http://novosti-volzhskogo.rf

The most optimal and frequent option is admission based on the results of the Unified State Exam. SFU passing scores for technical areas range from 44 to 72. Humanities students will have to put in more effort: the score of the last person enrolled in Linguistics, for example, in 2017 was 83.

One way or another, any applicant would like to be as confident as possible in their abilities during admission. In this case, preparatory courses organized by SFU can come to the rescue.

Two preparation options are available for applicants: full-time and part-time. By attending courses, students will be able to gain knowledge to participate in Olympiads, pass the Unified State Exam and entrance tests. The remote option will provide the opportunity to prepare only for the Unified Exam. The latter is unlikely to give a 100% guarantee that the student will be able to enter Siberian Federal University.

    • orphans,
    • disabled children,
    • children of military personnel who died in service,
    • combatants and others.

At the same time, they will be able to receive a scholarship and live in a dormitory (for non-residents).

    All-Russian Olympiad

    (c) https://prouchebu.com

Applicants who became winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren can enter SFU without problems, just like successful athletes. We are talking about:

    • champions and medalists of the Olympic Games,
    • champions and prize-winners of the Paralympic Games and Deaflympics,
    • world champions,
    • European champions and so on.

    Quotas

So it’s possible to get into Siberian Federal University. You just need to decide in advance on the direction of your preparation and steadily move towards your dream.

    Anya Sotnikova.

On June 20, Siberian Federal University began accepting documents for applicants from all over Russia. The features of the current admissions campaign were discussed at a press conference the day before, on June 19, by speakers - the head of the department of pre-university preparation and new enrollment at SFU Andrei Luchenkov and the executive secretary of the SFU admissions committee Roman Vaganov.

How can I submit documents in time?

Carefully monitor the deadlines, which may vary depending on the chosen direction, as well as the basis of training: paid or budget.

Thus, documents from applicants applying for state-funded places only based on the results of the Unified State Examination will be accepted until July 26. For those who plan to study on a paid basis, this deadline has been extended until August 13.

For admission to a number of areas, the results of the Unified State Exam are not enough; additional creative or professional tests are carried out there. For example, for “Architecture”, “Urban Planning”, “Journalism”, “Physical Education” and others. For such specialties, the deadline for submitting documents is the shortest - until July 10. The same deadline is established for applicants based on the results of general education entrance tests, which the university conducts independently. For example, applicants who already have secondary vocational or higher education, as well as applicants from among the disabled and foreign citizens. You can find out more about who falls into this category.

Those wishing to study at the Military Engineering Institute will be able to submit documents until July 18.

All entrance tests at Siberian Federal University officially end on July 26, and already on July 29, the first orders appear for the admission to budget places of applicants who were bypassed by the entrance tests - these are all persons entering under a quota.

Orders for enrollment in budget-funded places will appear from August 3 to August 8. And starting from August 17, you will be able to see orders for enrollment on a paid basis.

    — Traditionally, Siberian Federal University has a very large enrollment for budget places. I would like to especially note that this year the Siberian Federal University has the second largest enrollment in Russia for budget places after Moscow State University. Therefore, the children will have opportunities for admission,” noted Andrei Luchenkov.

How to increase your chances of admission?

Traditionally, SFU provides the opportunity to receive additional points to the Unified State Examination rating for individual achievements - participation in competitions and olympiads held at SFU counts.

For example, applicants who present a gold TRP badge will receive 1 point (prize winners of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex “Ready for Labor and Defense” - editor’s note), intellectual, creative and sports achievements can add from 1 to 10 points, excellent students and medalists can count on 5 points. And champions and prize-winners of the Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympic Games, European champions have a chance to add 10 points to their total. Applicants can also take part in an express competition for knowledge of the rules of admission to SFU, which starts on June 29. Based on the results of such a competition, you can earn from 2 to 5 additional points.

You can find out whether your achievements are included in the list of those rewarded by the university

    Where to submit documents?

In 2018, Siberian Federal University accepts documents at several points at once in order to compensate for the discomfort inevitable for applicants during the renovation of Svobodny Avenue and in connection with preparations for the upcoming Universiade.

Three points will operate in a single window mode, which means they will accept documents from all 20 Siberian Federal University institutes.

Addresses of the points: in addition to the traditional one on Svobodny Avenue, 79, a point has been opened on the right bank - on Avenue named after the newspaper "Krasnoyarsky Rabochiy", 95, as well as in the city center - on Lydia Prushinskaya Street, 2.

In order to avoid stuffy summer traffic jams and queues at the admission window, the SFU admissions committee recommends submitting documents via the Internet. According to the Siberian Federal University, last year 25% of documents were accepted remotely.

SFU notes that applications submitted the morning after graduation night or two weeks later have the same validity, so applicants are advised not to create a stir and save their energy.

The visiting SFU admissions committee will work from June 28 to July 5 in Ulan-Ude, Barnaul, Gorno-Altaisk, Yurga, Bratsk, Novokuznetsk, Kyzyl, Chita and Angarsk. Residents of these cities will be able to submit documents without traveling to Krasnoyarsk.

How will talented applicants be supported?

Along with the opportunity to receive additional points for talents and achievements, future first-year students will be able to receive financial support, for which 25 million rubles were allocated in 2018.

Thus, applicants enrolling in areas included in the priority list will be able to receive an additional 4 thousand rubles in addition to the scholarship. Traditionally, the list of priority areas for the development of the region includes applied ones - mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, radio engineering, mining and others.

Prize-winners of school Olympiads, 100-scorer students, graduates of Siberian Federal University physics and mathematics classes with an average Unified State Exam score above 70 points will receive a scholarship in the amount of 12 thousand rubles. And applicants who score high on the Unified State Examination results in physics, computer science, chemistry, biology, history, foreign language, social studies and literature will be able to apply for scholarships from 5 to 7 thousand rubles.

Sports medalists and champions of world, European, Russian and various university championships will be able to count on 7 thousand.

Applicants who came to SFU from outside the Krasnoyarsk Territory, whose average score on the Unified State Examination is at least 70, will be able to receive compensation from SFU for travel from their place of residence to their place of study.

Are there any discounts on training?

Certainly. At Siberian Federal University there is an “intellectual discount” on paid education, when the Unified State Examination score of an applicant applying for commercial studies directly affects the discount - from 10 to 50%.

For example, when enrolling in philology or linguistics, you can earn a discount of up to 10%, provided that the average score on the Unified State Examination is at least 70. Future psychologists and economists with the same score can count on a 40% discount. The size of the discount for applied specialties - mathematics, architecture, biology, applied computer science will be 50%, and the number of points for the discount will be 60. You can study the full list of “intellectual discounts”

What to do after I have submitted the documents?

    — During enrollment, we kindly ask you not to change your telephone numbers, indicate additional telephone numbers, not to go on vacation during the period from July 27 to August 8, to always be available and in touch with the admissions committee. We kindly ask you to monitor your rating and take responsibility for your own admission.

Photo: press service of the Siberian Federal University

The university, which helped the beautiful city of Krasnoyarsk not only become younger, but also become modern, wins the hearts of an increasing number of applicants every year. And this is not surprising, because despite the relatively short period of operation of the Siberian Federal University, it managed to unite more than forty thousand students. At the same time, more than three thousand talented teachers guide everyone along the difficult roads of knowledge. Therefore, if you want to join this friendly team, then we invite you to find out about the features of admission to SFU in 2017.

    Admission to Bachelor's Degree

If you want to get an education at this university, then the first thing you should know is the application deadlines. After all, the successful completion of all stages of the introductory campaign depends on your compliance with them.

First, let's look at the features of submitting documents. So, this process will begin on June 20, but will end for different categories of citizens at different times:

    • July 7 is the date for those citizens who will take exams of a certain focus;
    • July 10 is the end of the application period for applicants who are required to take entrance tests organized by the university independently;
    • July 18 - this date applies to those who plan to become students of the Military Engineering Institute;
    • July 26 is the date provided for citizens who apply on the basis of results and for budget places (in a similar case, but only for a paid form - August 12).

After the issue of deadlines for submitting documents has already been considered, you need to figure out what documents need to be prepared. First of all, you must fill out an application, which must indicate your chosen specialty. You can see an example of how to correctly fill out an application on the university website. In addition to this, you must submit two more documents, each of which confirms your identity and education. Additionally, you must agree to the processing of your personal data. You can do this by filling out the appropriate application, the form of which you can find on the website.

In addition to the above mandatory documents, which must be submitted by all applicants without exception, there are additional ones. They should be provided only to certain categories of citizens. For example, if you want to get a hostel for the period of study, then you need to submit an appropriate application.

Do not forget that those citizens who will take exams provided by the university will also need to submit two photographs. Of course, this is not the entire list of additional documents, but all others must confirm preferential rights upon admission.

Each applicant can submit a complete package of documents in three different ways. The first two can be called standard and the most popular among applicants. This can be submitted directly to the admissions office or by mail. But recently, the method of submitting documents electronically has become increasingly popular. You can do this by scanning all the necessary documents and sending them by email to the admissions committee.

We will pay special attention to the benefits provided to certain categories of citizens. Thus, the admission rules provide for the right to admission without passing entrance exams. Winners and prize-winners of the final stages of All-Russian Olympiads, as well as those citizens who became members of a team representing the Russian Federation at the international level, will be able to use it. Let us note that this category of citizens includes champions and medalists of the Olympic Games. In addition, there are another type of rights that provide an advantage during enrollment. By the way, the number of categories of citizens who can use them is much larger. This can be explained by the fact that the admission rules provide for about thirteen categories, which also include disabled children.

So, carefully read the features of admission to this university in order to be able to find out in advance about your rights and in the future take advantage of the benefits provided.

Master's degree at Siberian Federal University

If you have already received a bachelor's degree and are deciding where to continue your studies, then we suggest that you do not hesitate to apply to this university. And so that you don’t have any problems, we’ll tell you about some of the features of admission.

So, the submission deadlines will, of course, differ from those indicated above. This stage will begin on July 3 and end twenty-six days later, namely on July 29. The next thing applicants have to go through is passing the entrance exams, which will take place over a week, namely from July 31 to August 7.

And finally, the last stage will end on August 19, when the enrollment order will be signed.

As for the list of documents and methods of submitting them, they are generally the same as for admission to a bachelor’s degree.

Please note that applicants will have to take entrance tests. They will be rated on a 100-point scale. But at the same time, in any case, you need to score at least 40 points in order to be able to take part in the introductory campaign further.

    Entrance tests

In order to be able to become a student, some applicants will have to take entrance exams. Their peculiarity is that they will be conducted both orally and in writing. Moreover, the language that will be used during them is Russian. Please note that persons with disabilities will be provided with all conditions so that they can pass all exams with ease.

Another aspect that deserves special attention is passing scores. Of course, in order to at least somehow navigate what passing scores you need to score, both when applying for a budget and a paid form. So, if you want to become a real professional in the field of chemistry, then you will have to score at least 59.67 points if you enroll on a budget, and 52.67 points if you choose a paid form of study. Other indicators exist for specializations such as history. For the budget form there are 75 points, but for the paid form - 51 points. As you can see, the trend has developed in such a way that in order to study on a budget, you need to score more points than on a paid form. In any case, remember that these figures are for the previous year, so they will, of course, change. But you have the opportunity to roughly navigate these indicators and strive to achieve them. However, remember that passing scores will depend on which faculty you choose. So be careful when choosing a faculty, find out in advance what exams you will have to take and focus on the passing scores in order to be able to easily and without problems become SFU students.

    Tuition prices in 2017

When considering the features of the admissions campaign, we must not forget about the issue of tuition costs in the 2017-2018 academic year. But it is not yet possible to give exact figures, since this information is not yet available. Although you can focus on the prices of previous years, you need to know in advance what to expect. Thus, students paid the following amounts for their education this academic year. The minimum amount, namely 28,000 rubles for one semester, is provided for the field of study “philosophy”. But the biggest indicator is 60,000 rubles per semester paid by students who chose the specialty “urban planning”. Please note that these prices are for undergraduate studies. As for the master's degree, it is, of course, more expensive. So, if the specialty “metallurgy” at a bachelor’s degree costs 35,000 rubles, then a master’s degree costs 38,685 rubles. The most expensive master's program will be for those who will learn the basics of physical education, because a semester of study will cost 60,685 rubles.

And at the end it is worth remembering such an event as an open day. Unfortunately, the fall meetings with teachers have already taken place. They were held from October 31 to November 3, and in a relatively short period of time, about two and a half thousand people were able to visit the walls of this university and learn more about the features of the entrance campaign.

This year the Siberian Federal University (SFU) will provide 6 thousand budget (free) places for first-year students. And in total, together with paid students, graduate students, masters and part-time students, 10 thousand students are ready to be accepted here. Siberian Federal University Deputy Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Andrei Luchenkov, who came to Khakassia, spoke about this.

At a press conference held in Abakan, Andrei Luchenkov recalled that the project for the creation of Federal universities initially assumes that they will serve residents of all regions included in the Federal districts. And Khakassia, as the closest neighbor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, is of particular importance for Siberian Federal University. Thousands of students from Khakassia study at the University, many of whom return to work in their republic after graduation.

According to the Deputy Vice-Rector, students from Khakassia are the second largest group of SFU students after residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Every year, 700-880 applicants from Khakassia apply to SFU, of which 400-450 become students of the University.

“I hope that this year will not be an exception, and we will receive many talented, motivated and prepared applicants from Khakassia”, - noted Luchenkov.

BIGGEST CHANCES OF GET INTO FREE TRAINING

Andrey Luchenkov said that Siberian Federal University has the largest quota for free education in the country. So, this year the University provides 6 thousand budget places for first-year students and this is half of all free places in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia. The remainder comes from all other universities combined.

    EXTRA POINTS

Let us remind you that enrollment in universities in Russia is on a competitive basis and the main criterion for admission is the total score on the Unified State Exam in the applicant’s certificate. But in addition to this, it is possible to increase this amount by up to 10 points.

“And believe me, this is a very significant factor. Sometimes it’s the difference of 1-2 points that determines whether an applicant is accepted for study or not.”, - emphasized the representative of SFU.

As you know, you can earn extra points by participating in various activities throughout your school career. Thus, a school gold medal, or a red diploma from a technical school graduate, gives a maximum bonus of 10 points.

Bonus points are also added for the student’s participation in Olympiads - the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren, the Olympiad of the Council of Rectors, etc. - the winners and prize-winners of such Olympiads also receive a certain number of additional points.

    LAST CHANCE

But SFU also gives applicants a last chance to score additional points for admission! From June 22 to July 15, the University runs an express competition, the essence of which is that by answering questions about life at the University and the rules for admission to it, you can earn up to 5 points towards the Unified State Exam!

Please note that the express competition is held remotely. To participate, you must register on the platform sdo.sfu-kras.ru, then go to the competition page. Applicants will be able to send their answers until July 15.

At the same time, the points earned by applicants at the SFU express competition can also be counted when entering other universities.

    BONUS PROGRAM

Let us note that Siberian Federal University is an engineering-oriented university. Therefore, up to 80% of budget places for first-year students are based on knowledge of physics, mathematics, computer science and partly chemistry. Therefore, the SFU admission system is designed to support applicants who have high scores in physics, mathematics and computer science in their certificates. If an applicant scores 210 points or higher in three of these subjects upon admission, then his scholarship in the first semester will be doubled. That is, it will not be 2 thousand rubles, but 4 thousand. If the score is 240 or higher, then three times. If the applicant was a winner or prize-winner of the All-Russian Olympiads for schoolchildren in these subjects, then his scholarship will be five times higher than the basic one - that is, 10 thousand rubles.

    DISCOUNT SYSTEM FOR PAYERS

For those who did not get into budget places, but have good scores in subjects relevant to the university, there is a system of discounts. Thus, an applicant who scores at least 180 points based on the Unified State Examination results receives a discount of up to 50% of the cost when enrolling in paid education.

    HELP AND ADVICE

There is a website “Solving the Unified State Exam” designed to help applicants. On this site, a team of SFU experts advises graduates for free, answers their questions and gives advice on admission not only to the Siberian Federal University, but also to any other university in the country. From these specialists you can get any information you might need.

    DEADLINES FOR ACCEPTING DOCUMENTS

The admission campaign has already started. Now is the hottest time, and then the deadline will come, after which it will be too late to submit documents.

Acceptance of documents from applicants to SFU will continue until July 25. But there are reservations for areas where the competition takes into account not only Unified State Exam scores, but also additional tests.

Thus, in a specialty where a creative competition is held upon admission (for example, “journalism”), the deadline for accepting documents is July 12.

Graduates of technical schools who will be enrolled not according to the Unified State Exam, but according to separate tests, must submit documents before July 10.

And for those who enter the Military Engineering Institute of Siberian Federal University, the deadline for submitting documents is July 17.

And from July 27 to August 8, all applicants need to be in touch with the university - during this period the results of competitions are summed up and enrollment is carried out.

RUSSIA'S FIRST REMOTE ENROLLMENT FORECASTING SYSTEM

In order to save time and nerve cells of applicants, Siberian Federal University was the first in our country to introduce a remote enrollment forecast system. With its help, online, even using a mobile phone, a person can find out in advance his chances of getting into budget places at the university. This is implemented in the SFU Entrant mobile application, running on iOS and Android. In the same application you can find a lot of other information about the university, even maps to the educational buildings and campuses.

    STUDY AND LIVING CONDITIONS

Siberian Federal University was chosen as the base campus for the 2019 World Universiade. Therefore, right now, a large number of the most modern dormitories have been introduced and are being introduced on the territory of the University, which are already being used by university students. A total of six new dormitories are being built, three of which will be put into operation this fall.

Another dormitory, called “Teala village,” has an unusually high level of comfort for student campuses. Engineering students with high Unified State Exam scores in physics and computer science will live there.

Siberian Federal University provides places in dormitories not only to all non-resident state-funded students, but even to almost all paying students. The level of provision of places in dormitories at Siberian Federal University is 95% - this is the highest figure among the state challenges in Russia!

    NEW SPECIALTIES

In total, Siberian Federal University provides training in more than 170 areas (specialties). And they are replenished all the time. Thus, for those entering the 1st year, two unique programs have appeared at SFU this year: the Higher School of Automotive Service and the Higher School of Restaurant Management.

In addition, as Andrey Luchenkov especially noted, many new programs are opening in the master's program. They are associated with such promising areas as medical engineering and new directions in thermal and alternative energy. These master's programs are open to both Russian students and foreigners, with teaching in English.

    EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS AFTER SFU

The Siberian Federal University occupies 12-13 places in the general ranking of Russian universities, which in itself is very high. But in terms of demand and employment of SFU graduates in recent years, they have been among the top three, even coming out in first place!

At the same time, the university, as the deputy vice-rector noted, does not at all set itself the task of “accommodating” its former students at any cost. It’s just that the university provides such high-quality training that graduates are in great demand among employers. In addition, Siberian Federal University has long had partnerships with almost all the largest domestic companies operating in a variety of industries - Norilsk Nickel, RUSAL, RusHydro, SUEK, Russian Coal, Polyus-Zoloto, " Rosneft" and many other famous companies.

The essence of the partnership is that starting from the 2nd-3rd year, SibFU students get internships at real enterprises. As Andrey Luchenkov said, some students, doing internships at Vankor-Neft, earn up to 150 thousand rubles there in 1.5 months.

But what is even more important is that during their studies and internships, representatives of leading companies “set their eyes on the best students” and invite them to their corporate specialist training programs. And then students begin to receive additional scholarships from enterprises, and after graduation they will have a guaranteed job in their specialty at a successful and wealthy enterprise.

The Deputy Vice-Rector noted that this applies not only to students of engineering specialties, but also to other areas. SFU partners are not only industrialists, but also banks and social organizations.

As a result, up to 60% of senior students are “recruited” by serious employers.
