How to prepare for the exam in 5 days. Is it possible to prepare for the Unified State Exam from scratch on your own? New way of life

How to prepare for the Unified State Exam on your own? How long do you need to study to pass the exam? Is it worth attending preparation courses for the Unified State Exam? Are there effective techniques that can help with this process? Today's schoolchildren and their parents are concerned about all these issues. Former graduates know how to independently prepare for the Unified State Exam. The article provides advice based on their experience.

    When to start?

Before you draw up a preparation plan for the Unified State Exam, it is worth understanding that there are points that are relevant in studying mathematics, the Russian language, and history. There are also specific features. How to independently prepare for the Unified State Exam in each of the subjects will be discussed below.

So, how much time will it take to study to ensure you pass the exam? One year is enough. You can start preparing in tenth grade. Or even during the summer holidays. But few schoolchildren have such willpower. Those who like to put things off for later should know that preparation for the Unified State Exam in chemistry, mathematics, Russian language and other subjects should begin at the beginning of the senior year. And not later. The spring months can be devoted to reviewing material covered in recent years.

    Attending courses

This is the best option for preparing for the Unified State Exam. Most graduates choose it. Preparation for the state exam can be carried out both within the walls of the school and in the training center, where experienced teachers and university professors work. Classes are usually held in mini-groups. According to methodologists, this is the most effective way to master the knowledge necessary to pass exams.

There are specialized courses in each city. In addition, it will not be difficult to find a good tutor. But even if you attend the best preparation courses for the Unified State Exam, you will not achieve the desired result if you do not devote enough time to independent and systematic study.

    School lessons

Preparation for the Unified State Exam must have a solid base. Grade 10 is an important step on the path to obtaining the coveted certificate. You should pay the utmost attention to your school lessons, even if you begin your actual preparation for the exam in the last school year. The better the tenth grade program is mastered, the easier it will be in graduation.

Many people resort to the services of tutors. The individual training format is quite effective. During the first lesson, a private tutor determines the student’s level of knowledge, then draws up a preparation plan for the upcoming exam. The student can only complete the tutor’s assignments. If the teacher is a good, experienced specialist, he knows what he should work on thoroughly and what he should not focus the student’s attention on. But how can you prepare for the Unified State Exam on your own? How to determine your own level of knowledge and create a lesson plan?

How to prepare for the Unified State Exam on your own?

First of all, you need to find tests for the previous year. Record the time (at least three hours are allocated for completing tasks during the Unified State Exam), complete them, then check the results, marking the points that you could not cope with. Topics in which you made mistakes should be given special attention in the future.

Books for preparing for the Unified State Exam are not difficult to find. Similar materials occupy entire shelves in stores. First of all, you should acquire a number of manuals and textbooks. While you can do without the services of a tutor or attending special courses, you won’t be able to prepare without materials for preparing for the Unified State Exam. Mandatory literature includes collections of assignments, educational and methodological recommendations, as well as books that list typical mistakes that examinees make.

Once knowledge gaps have been identified, a clear plan for the week should be drawn up. For example, set aside Monday for math classes. Dedicate Tuesday to reviewing the rules of the Russian language. Classes should be allocated at least an hour a day. Systematicity is a prerequisite for achieving any goal.

Preparing for the Unified State Exam from scratch

One of the foreign psychologists once said that if you devote two hours every day to any activity, in a year you can achieve brilliant results. This is regardless of how unattainable the goal seems at the beginning of the journey. Therefore, even if there are significant gaps in your knowledge, do not despair. But preparations should begin as early as possible.

    New way of life

So, preparation for the Unified State Exam in chemistry, physics, biology and other subjects should take the form of systematic, regular classes. Regular changes in the education system cause public criticism. But even if these transformations have negative consequences, the positive aspects should not be discounted. After all, preparing for the exam disciplines and develops a sense of responsibility.

Schoolchildren have always taken final tests, but every year changes are made to most effectively assess the level of knowledge of future applicants. This is also a good preparation for the upcoming student life.

    Russian language

When preparing for an exam in a particular subject, you should take into account some features. For Russian language classes, teachers recommend using textbooks by I. P. Tsybulko and N. A. Senina. The names of these authors are well known to schoolchildren. Using the manuals of Senina and Tsybulko, preparation for the OGE is carried out. The Unified State Examination in the Russian language includes the following topics:

    • Phonetics.
    • Vocabulary.
    • Morphology.
    • Word formation.
    • Spelling.
    • Syntax.
    • Punctuation.

Many people believe that in order to pass the Unified State Exam in Russian, it is enough just to be able to more or less competently express thoughts orally and on paper. This point of view is not entirely correct. You also need to know the theoretical part. In order to successfully pass the Unified State Exam in this subject, you should learn and regularly repeat the rules, and test your knowledge by self-testing.

    Mathematics

And you can also prepare for the exam in this subject yourself. However, at the same time, the future graduate will need to search for the necessary information himself and motivate himself to study. In other words, be your own tutor. However, in the process of preparing for a mathematics exam, difficulties may arise that are not easy to overcome on your own. It is to prevent such situations that you should start classes at least a year before the Unified State Exam. In this case, it will be possible to clarify any points during the learning process with the school teacher. The authors of the manuals recommended by teachers are F. F. Lysenko, Kulabukhova S. Yu.

    Story

Studying a subject and preparing for an exam on it are completely different types of educational activities. In order to understand the history of your own country, you should read a lot and watch certain documentaries. When preparing for the exam, it is enough to learn the main dates and events. But still, you should not make one of the common mistakes of schoolchildren. Namely, memorize dates. You need to have some idea about the causes and nature of the main historical events. Thus, to successfully pass the exam in this subject, you should devote a lot of time to testing and, if possible, read relevant literature. The authors of textbooks, without which it is difficult - I. A. Artasov, O. N. Malnikova.

    Other items

Preparation for the Unified State Exam in chemistry, biology, foreign languages, and physics is carried out according to the same scheme. There shouldn't be any difficulties with these items. If a student chooses them, it means he has certain knowledge and will not have to start preparation from scratch. A few months before the chemistry exam, it is worth purchasing textbooks by V. N. Doronkina. To successfully pass the Unified State Exam in physics, you will have to solve a lot of problems. And here, buying a large number of solution books and collections certainly cannot be avoided.

It is quite difficult to prepare for a foreign language exam on your own. After all, part of the test is to test the level of language skills. It is not easy to develop them completely alone. There is another way to prepare for the exam without visiting a tutor: conduct joint classes. Helping each other will increase the level of knowledge and help avoid many difficulties. After all, it often happens that someone who is strong in grammar has a small vocabulary. And those who confidently speak a foreign language make serious mistakes in conjugating verbs and using one or another syntactic structure.

Joint classes should be conducted not only when preparing for the Unified State Exam in English, German or French, but also in other cases. Especially if there is an oral exam coming up. Often a student who has sufficient knowledge gets lost at a crucial moment. Speaking skills should be developed in order not to get confused in front of the examiner.

The end of schooling ends with the most important stage - the state final certification. Each graduate must successfully pass the mandatory Unified State Examination, and most schoolchildren increase the number of exams, supplementing them with elective disciplines. So how can you organize your preparation effectively so that in just over a year you can improve your knowledge and successfully pass the final tests?

Everyone who will take an important exam needs to determine a list of academic disciplines, and then begin preparing for the tests on time.

ADVICE: Experienced teachers say that the best option is to start preparing for the Unified State Exam a year in advance.

With proper organization of work, during this time it will be possible to recall and systematize information that was studied even several years ago.

    Where to begin

To achieve results, it is worth using traditional methodological techniques that teachers use. They devote the initial stage to testing.

When organizing, it is useful to objectively determine which topics do not cause difficulties, which are difficult to remember, and which information seems completely new.

To check, you should not rely only on your own impressions or grades received in class. It is necessary to look at them from the point of view of the examination requirements.

    Pre-test options:

    • tests and tests at school;
    • independent testing of the level of knowledge (using collections or special websites for preparing for the Unified State Exam).

    What materials will be needed?

It is best to prepare the necessary materials in advance, too. The main aid will be the textbooks that were used at school. Additional resources:

    • reference books, teaching aids compiled to help those taking the unified state exams;
    • demo versions of the Unified State Exam;
    • manuals posted on social media pages dedicated to passing the final exam;
    • tests to check the quality of knowledge acquisition.

ADVICE: When choosing study guides or additional resources, you should first of all give preference to those compiled by the developers of the exam materials.

Studying exam tasks in selected disciplines will help determine what else you will need: contour maps, atlases (history, geography), dictionaries (Russian, foreign languages), texts of works of art (literature), etc.

Planning is the key to success

Often the mistake of many schoolchildren is the inability to competently combine the amount of information with the time to assimilate it. Drawing up a plan will help to evenly distribute all the material, systematize knowledge, and maintain the reserve of strength necessary to successfully pass the final certification.

    • Review your daily routine and work schedule to allocate 0.5 to 1 hour for studying daily. Systematic work is more effective than long-term training once a week.
    • When preparing for exams in several disciplines, try to spend at least 20 minutes every day on each.
    • When scheduling, it will be helpful to plan to complete the review 3-4 weeks before the test begins. The reserve time will come in handy if the plan has to be adjusted (due to illness or longer work on one of the topics). If everything goes according to plan, the reserve will be needed for repetition and completion of exam tasks.

ADVICE: Comprehensive work on the educational material will help you successfully pass the final certification. The repetition of each topic should begin with an analysis of theoretical information, after which you can begin to complete exam tasks.

    Self-control during preparation

When preparing for the State Examination, even the greatest connoisseurs of personal freedom will have to tune in to systematic control. You need to control a lot: the implementation of the plan, the level of preparation, the time for completing exam tasks.

It’s easiest for graduates to evaluate the plan: here all the delays from the schedule are obvious.

It is important to evaluate the intermediate results and the current one, which will help adjust the content of the work.

To test ourselves, let us again recall the methodological techniques that teachers use: tests, tests, assessments. They should be performed regularly, after studying each topic or section.

ADVICE: Strict monitoring will provide an objective assessment of knowledge that will help identify and close existing gaps.

Making the self-control conditions as close as possible to the exam conditions (in terms of time, degree of independence, lack of access to the Internet, etc.) will allow you to understand whether what was done, to which a lot of time was devoted, is effective.

If the results remain the same and repeat the data from the initial testing, it is necessary to reconsider the approaches, use other teaching aids or resources, and best of all, use the help of specialists - a school teacher, a tutor, or a special website developed by professionals.

    Take care of your health

A high score as a result of the unified state exam is an important, but not the main goal. These points should open the door to an interesting, rich student life.

So that after the final tests you do not have to deal with restoring your health, it is important to devote time not only to classes. Good rest, physical activity, walks, and interesting leisure activities are not canceled when preparing for the Unified State Exam!

Systematic studies throughout the year and hard work will help you cope with assignments and get a high score on the unified state exam.

This is how a check of the fact of writing an essay, a partially automated lab check, and a rating of participants appeared.

During the New Year holidays, a timer appeared on the main page of linkmeup.ru, counting down the time until the release of our idea.

It was in Cisco colors, which told many where this timer was actually leading.

In a couple of evenings, a forum was launched that was not directly related to CCIE for the year. Anton Klochkov became its moderator. The time for forums passed seven years ago. But even this craft still lives, albeit on its last legs.

On April 1, a slightly humorous podcast about the selection results was released.
On April 2, another post with rules and instructions.
And on the fourth everything started to turn around.
There was no turning back now.

Selection into the organized crime group was the most important step after the training plan. The task was banal - to find competent and interested people who would not give up studying after a month, or two, or six months.

We couldn’t take money - the best incentive to continue doing something - no one knew what would happen to the project in the future; no one wanted to take on such responsibility, start an individual entrepreneur, etc.

We chose, I believe, the best selection method - in three stages:

    1) The candidate expresses his desire on the website. He must indicate his real name, surname, telephone number and email.
    892 people applied.
This greatly exceeded all our expectations.

    2) The candidate sends an essay with answers to simple questions:

    • Last name and first name that were specified at the previous stage.
    • Briefly about me.
    • Do the project goals meet my expectations?
    • Why do I need to participate in this project?
    • What is important to me in this project?
    • Will I be able to allocate the necessary resources (time, technical resources, independently finding the necessary materials) required for training?
    • What kind of help do I expect from experts?
    • What will happen if such assistance is not provided?
    • What is the likelihood of me achieving results after the end of the project and what will these results be expressed in?
    • If I win, what will I do with the voucher?
This has become a stumbling block for many. People simply didn’t understand why it was needed, so they filled it out and ignored it, ignored the questions, or wrote heresy. Well, it was their fault. At first we tried to explain to everyone individually what we were waiting for. But then they realized that this was natural selection.

The purpose of this tour was to assess a person’s desire and motivation to be in an organized crime group and to prepare.

If he can't spend 20-30 minutes of his time on these answers, then he doesn't understand what he wants and won't be able to spend 15-20 hours a week preparing.

They sent us 630 essay. It was some kind of madness, we cried, we lost faith in humanity. It seemed to us that this would never end. Each of the experts honestly spent several weeks proofreading each and every one, and gave their subjective assessment.

Then they were averaged over all experts and an “objective” one appeared. No one argued with someone else’s grade, so the same essay could get a 2 for one and a 5 for another. The average score turned out to be 2,3 (out of 5).

    3) Technical test prepared by Dima Figol and Ilya. 50 difficult questions from the general pool (about 60). 90 minutes, one attempt.

We have done everything possible to eliminate fraud and discomfort from taking the test. There is a reasonable opinion that it was successful.

Sergey Lunkov helped us transfer all the questions and images to the site, check them and remove flaws.

Alexander Fatin read everything for correct English grammar and unambiguous meanings.

Average mark 51,92 (out of 100). Total passed the test 492 person.

All data was entered into a summary table, where, using a very cunning formula, for each participant, based on the essay and test, his index was derived.

The year and a half that the project actually lasted showed that we were not mistaken in our approach. The survival rate is extremely high: after the first six months, 3 people died. In a year - 10 people. At the time of April 2017, before the big six-month break, there were 18 people left, 60% of the total.

But the experts’ main fear was that everything would collapse in 2-3 months.
Unfortunately, the sad experience of CCIE over the past year has confirmed the common truth - an unmotivated person quickly loses interest in activities. The experts fled first. Unfortunately, after about three months, only Emil and Natasha remained active in the project. When all the automation was completed, Natasha also didn’t want to stay for any price.
For more than a year, Emil carried the project on his shoulders.

People with glowing eyes at first went out very quickly.

The second obvious conclusion is that this mode is not suitable for everyone. For some the rhythm is too fast, for others it is too slow. There are also examples of people leaving the project because independent preparation is more productive. Although you need to understand that this is still not a minus of the CCIE approach in a year, but a plus for the person’s expertise.

In December 2017, despite all the adversity, many difficulties, blows of fate and long pauses, Emil completed the project to prepare for the CCIE.

Six people walked this path with him:

    1 Dyshlevoy Yuri 130 lab 129 essays
    2 Guzeev Denis 130 lab 48 essays
    3 Sokurov Leonid 128 lab 114 essays
    4 Permyakov Alexander 127 lab 89 essays
    5 Ivanchenko Victoria 123 lab 114 essays
    6 Andreev Pavel 122 lab 114 essays

We understood how interleaving works, how to select 30 people out of 900 so that they do not merge. We have learned our lessons. We created a small community that lived on its own.
We have helped some wonderful people grow into professionals.

But all this is thanks to one person.

How to properly prepare for exams in the remaining four months, what a tutor can help you with, and in what situations you can do without an at-home teacher. Evgeny Strelnikov, development director of the tutor search site Upstudy.ru, argues.

    FOR WHATADDRESSTOTO THE TUTOR

Teachers in the classroom do not have time to notice the successes and failures of each student, hence the need for individual lessons, where the tutor pays attention to the student’s “gaps”, and does not rush through the school curriculum in order to have time to give everything before the end of the year.

Another factor due to which some schoolchildren stop understanding topics and get confused with formulas is laziness. It is the same as in adults. At school you can’t be too lazy – there are clear rules, lessons and a schedule, but at home it’s a different matter! You can always agree with yourself and postpone preparation for an hour or two. A tutor in such a situation is exactly the person who will prevent you from being lazy at home. He will check the assignment, force you to start the lesson on time, and discipline you.

And some simply lack the amount of knowledge. This means that something was missed.

If there are several weeks left before the Unified State Exam, the tutor’s task here is to methodically solve problems from previous years. In such situations, it is better to choose someone who sat on the commission and personally checked the exam papers.

    ABOUTMETHODOLOGYSURRENDEROGEANDUnified State Exam

To begin with, you should focus on the subjects you have chosen to take. Forget for a while about what will not be useful during exams. Don't be afraid to spoil your certificate with bad grades for the last quarter. Firstly, this is unlikely, and secondly, the average score of the certificate does not affect your chances of entering a university. But Unified State Examination scores do matter.

Start with the topics you are unsure about. Determine what you know well and stop doing it for a while. Throw all your strength into what is difficult for you.

Save time. It is very important to learn how to manage your time during the exam. To do this, take a timer and track how much time you spend on tasks. Practice previous years' question papers.

    WHICHITEMSMORE OFTENTOTALCHOOSE

According to portal statistics, the most popular subjects are algebra, mathematics and Russian. Schoolchildren are also looking for tutors in natural science subjects (physics, chemistry, biology), history and computer science.

According to tutors, difficulties with the exact sciences arise due to missing a topic. And in physics and mathematics, understanding one topic helps to understand the next.

    HOWPREPAREWITHOUTTUTOR

Even when preparing with a tutor, the student must first try to do the task himself. Working according to the scheme: “did it myself → didn’t work → helped → did it myself” is the most effective.

First of all, you should answer a few questions honestly to yourself:

    1. Can I objectively assess my knowledge of the subject?

    2. Are there sources of information and experience available to me?

    3. Am I motivated enough to achieve the goal on my own?

If the answer to all questions is yes, gaps have been identified, shelves are filled with books, the Internet is limitless and there is a desire to catch up with everything, then you should try to prepare yourself. If something didn’t work out, do it again. If you see a clear problem that you can’t solve on your own, you should contact a tutor.

Do you think it is possible to thoroughly prepare for the exam in 3 days? Is it possible to master all the material in such a relatively short period of time? If you know about 3 effective methods, then the answer is yes.

The session, as always, crept up unnoticed. Nobody knew that it would come at all, right? And therefore there was somehow no time to prepare. And there was no time for her at all. There are so many interesting things around!

As a result, circumstances somehow worked out in such a way that there were only three days left before the exam. Although, it depends on how you look at it. For some it’s “only”, but for others it’s “whole!” In any case, there is no choice, and therefore the only way out is to use these three days as efficiently as possible.

There are three universal methods that will allow you to complete such a seemingly impossible task. And the first thing you should do is choose the one that is most suitable for you personally. You are an individual, aren't you? Therefore, there is no need to talk about any universality here. Only a personal approach!

    1. Shouldn’t we divide everything by three?

The first method that we will talk about is ideal for those students who have almost phenomenal memory. In the sense that one reading is enough for them to understand the material well for the next few days. What else is needed to successfully pass an exam or test?

The point here is simple. We take the entire list of questions, look at it with a serious look, and then divide it into three equal parts. For example, if there are only 60 questions, then there are 20 for each day. Is that a lot? Well, did you go to lectures? At least occasionally? So, you have a general idea of what we are talking about. All that remains is to go through the material you have covered one more time (especially the one you passed by for some reason) - and, lo and behold, the desired entry in your record book has been received. Which? It all depends on your diligence in the previous three days.

    EXPERT OPINION

Here, as you yourself understand, you can’t do without repetition. That's why we do it this way. We study all the material in one day. And there is no need to make such big eyes, simultaneously broadcasting about the impossibility of completing such an impossible task. It’s important for us not only to study everything, but also to have time to repeat it at least a couple of times, right? Therefore, we will run all the material three times, using a special approach each time.

So, on the first day we read exclusively class notes, and also study the training manual (if we have one at all). Here you only need complete concentration on the process, as a result of which the material you have covered will be refreshed in your memory, and some structured knowledge will also be acquired. That is, you must understand exactly what issues are interconnected and what follows from where. This will allow you not only to use the same knowledge when answering different questions, but also to take a more conscious approach to mastering the material as a whole. It is possible that these efforts alone will be enough to get a “C”. But if your ambitions require more, then move on to the next stage.

We devote the second day to “running through” the same material, but according to the textbook. Here we additionally refresh our memory of yesterday’s “reading”, discover new details for ourselves, and therefore have the right to count on, at a minimum, a “fourfold” answer. At least, if the teacher does not have a grudge against you or other “special views”. This, as you understand, is an individual case, which is extremely difficult to fit into the framework of general laws.

If you expect to get an “excellent” (which no one can forbid you either!), then you shouldn’t play the careless fool on the third day either. We are faced with a serious question of “polishing” the acquired knowledge. That is, the main work has already been done, but additional intellectual polish and an aura of academic meticulousness may not be enough to receive an “excellent” grade. We are talking about small details, the importance of which has not yet been canceled. Agree, it would obviously not hurt to find some additional facts and interesting features. In the eyes of the examiner, they will look particularly advantageous and professional. And if you are at least partially aware of the favorite questions of the person taking the exam, then you cannot avoid getting an “A”.

    3. "Two plus one"

The third way to learn the material in three days is somewhat of a hybrid. That is, it absorbed elements of method No. 1 and method No. 2 in approximately equal shares. Briefly, the essence of this approach looks like this: two days to study and one to repeat. If we explain it in more detail, the picture emerges as follows.

We study the required amount of information by dividing it into two approximately equal parts. We study one half on the first day, the second, as you might guess, on the next day. And we spend the third day briefly repeating everything, filling in possible gaps and finally digesting everything that needs to be known. And, what is important, this option for preparing for exams does not at all seek to “squeeze all the juice out of you.” On the contrary, everything flows somehow harmoniously, smoothly and confidently.

Well, which of the three methods described above for preparing for a meeting with an examiner appeals to you the most? So take it into service. And don't waste your time. There are only three days left. Oh yes, sorry, three whole days!
