    Creation of a developing environment in a speech therapy office

    Reflecting on my profession, I came to the conclusion that a speech therapist is a psychologist, an actor, a musician, and a designer. He must not only teach children to speak beautifully and correctly, but also create conditions for mastering speech. The environment should be inviting and mysterious to maintain interest in the activity. Each object should carry a semantic load, aesthetic pleasure and mystery in order to invite the child to dialogue.

    I offer my view on the equipment of a speech therapy office. I think that the use of simple and effective means of organizing a developing environment will help novice speech therapists to conduct classes more interesting and diverse. ( The presented correctional and developmental environment of the speech therapy room of the kindergarten was created by the hands of a speech therapist).

    The structure of the subject-developing environment of the speech therapy office is determined by the goals of correctional and educational work, the originality of the spatial arrangement of the necessary items and materials. The subject environment of the speech therapy office is built in accordance with the program that is being implemented in our educational institution.

    Speech material is regularly updated as you study each new lexical topic. Games and benefits change systematically throughout the year (depending on the season). This allows you to organize a developing environment within the walls of a speech therapy office, create comfortable conditions for training and emotional well-being.

    Equipment of a subject-spatial developmental environment in a speech therapist's office:

    Speech center.

    Mirrors, in front of which a significant part of the work is carried out, requiring visual control of the child (articulation and facial exercises, setting sounds and their primary automation). Cash registers of letters, syllables, abacus, sound rulers, sound symbols, syllables for typing out syllables, letter constructor, work albums with articulation exercises and related entertaining material, beads for forming a measured tempo of speech and developing motor coordination, didactic games, breathing simulators.

    Sensory center(a table with a multi-colored tabletop, objects by color, shape, cards, board-printed didactic games, toys for the development of tactile sensations, etc.).

    Occupation Center
    represented by a magnetic board, desks, the manual "Juggling clown", a variety of material is attached to the balls for group and subgroup lessons.

    Motor Centerdevelopment. Stencils, outlines, massage balls, lacing, cut pictures, nitkography. A manual with twist-off lids "Fly agaric", "Funny pig" and "Hardworking caterpillar" ( bound by me). "The hardworking caterpillar" is weaving braids, flowers on buttons, a pocket on buttons, tying a bow, etc.., multifunctional covers and much more.


    Center for visual perception.
    Looking at the stars, the cloud and the sun, children are happy to do eye exercises. Exercise helps to control eye movements, relieve mental fatigue, and promote the development of visual perception. I find this tutorial necessary and very useful.

    Centre

Equipped with a folding folder, a stand "Advice to parents from the Wise Owl", which contains changeable information on various types of speech disorders, entertaining exercises and other necessary recommendations of a speech therapist, handouts.
    Center for methodological support
    presented by reference and methodological literature, educational and methodological plans for the sections of correction and development of speech and manuals necessary for the correction process.



    To maintain the interest of children and so that there is not an overabundance of clarity, the manuals replace each other at certain times of the year. For example, "Window to nature": in the fall - we fix colorful leaves, clouds, "rain"; in winter - snowflakes, a snowman, a tree; in spring - migratory birds, a tree with swollen buds, the sun "smiles". Such an unusual calendar develops children's attention, they notice interesting and typical natural phenomena in winter, spring, summer and autumn.


    The constant updating of the equipment of the office makes corrective speech therapy activities for children interesting, comfortable, emotionally enriched and, of course, developing.

    The kids love my office. It is homely cozy, there is always a friendly atmosphere. This calms the child down, has a positive effect on his nervous system.

    All subject content is displayed in the passport of the speech therapy office. This is a photo album with “magnetic” pages, where all information about the purpose and equipment of the office is classified. There is a guide to the study, in which the color of the circle corresponds to different areas of correctional work. This greatly facilitates the search for the necessary educational or teaching materials.
    My experience shows that as a result of using the resources of the described correctional and developmental environment of the speech therapy office, the interest of children in correctional classes increases significantly. The environment helps in overcoming the general underdevelopment of speech, promotes the development of spatial representations and visual-object gnosis, develops cognitive interest, increases speech activity, promotes teaching children the elements of literacy; development of lexical and grammatical structure and coherent speech, mental functions.
