    Quest first steps in the Klondike. Tips and secrets of the game Klondike: The Lost Expedition. Collection of online games - A unique selection of the best projects of all time

    For a week now, users of the social network VKontakte have had access to the new browser-based toy “Klondike: The Lost Expedition”. During this time we learned a lot of new things about her. Pleasant surprises and insurmountable difficulties are what we encountered in the first days of the game. These few days were enough to level up to level 15-17, clear the island a little for a future settlement, and also complete all the tasks presented to us..

    Workers

    It's better not to hire stonemasons to mine coal. If possible, extract it yourself using energy. In this way, you can earn additional experience (4-54 experience per hit of coal) and find several collection items. It is better for stonemasons to break large stones until the main character can finish them off on his own. The same can be said about lumberjacks - the more wood they extract, the less experience and collection items you have left that you can get for cutting down yourself.
    Three workers can work simultaneously in the sawmill and quarry, extracting different resources. At the station you have two Eskimos - free workers, the rest need to be hired for a fee from among your friends. The cost of hiring different friends can vary significantly. To hire at the lowest price, look for and tag friends who log into the game at least once every two days and who have few friends, and therefore are rarely hired. Or buy a Hotel, the rental price is the same. Worker friends need housing. Set up a tent, a shack, apartments, a house with an attic, or a hotel for them. The better the housing, the less you will have to pay the employee per hour of work and the more time he will be able to work for you continuously.

    Resources

    While the Eskimo woodcutters are cutting down trees, break up pyrite, clay, coal and ore. These resources drop a lot of experience, as well as coins, energy and collection items. You need to finish off the last unit of stone or wood yourself - the last hit on a resource gives you a lot of experience, elements of collections, and often gold. Pyrite needs to be broken independently - with energy - it drops a lot of gold, which can be sold to buy something more necessary. If you mine it with stonemasons, they will bring ordinary stone. If you need a resource, dig under it from a friend, because when digging, several units of the resource being dug up may fall out.

    Animals

    Collect as much produce as possible from animals - cows, sheep and others - these products will be useful in completing quests and constructing buildings. Look for bird nests at your station and at your friends' stations. To take a nest from a friend, you need to hire him to work. To protect your nests from playful friends, you will have to buy Poultry Houses with guards or Guard Dogs.
    The animal dies having fulfilled its production limit. All birds basically - 15-25 nests, ordinary sheep - 25 wool, ordinary cows - 50 milk, purebred sheep - 125 wool, purebred cows - 200 milk, rabbits - after they eat 26 grass. The animal turns into a golden statue-monument, which can only be opened by the owner of the animal with one click on the statue. From the golden monument of any animal, elements of collections, including rare ones, coins, experience, materials and products of this animal pour out. Do not remove all grass from the station. Although it contains food for raising birds - worms, mammals - cows, sheep - feed on grass... If there is no place for animals to graze, you will have to provide them with hay. In order for birds to lay eggs, you need to buy or prepare feeders for them in the barn, fountain or manor. You can also raise birds and animals (except rabbits and swans) on the Farm and Poultry Farm. The living creatures there feed on mixed feed.

    Shovels

    Dig up your neighbors using all 100 free shovels daily (5 per friend). The limit on free shovels is updated at 00.00 Moscow time. Shovels also help to take eggs from your neighbors' nests if buildings, resources, decorations or plants cover them. You need to click on the object covering the nest, and then on the nest itself. The character will dig up the object, and then take the eggs, if the player’s other neighbors did not take them before you.
    If you need energy, gold, resources or specific collections, dig those items from which it drops.. By exchanging the collection of luck, you will receive super-shovels with which you can dig collections and energy from your friends.

    Gold veins

    Dig under a new building, decoration, or resource from a friend every time if you want to find a Gold Mine, which updates its location once a week. Also, the chance of finding treasure increases if you dig in hard-to-reach places - where another neighbor’s shovel has not dug. In this unique treasure, with a capacity of 2 to 8 shovels, you can find many useful things: gold, experience, elements of collections. At the station of each friend, 20 veins are randomly buried every week and they can be located under any buildings, decorations, resources, and even grass. The cores are distributed to all sections of the station, even if they are not yet accessible (closed). The fewer items there are at a friend’s station, the greater the chance of finding a vein, if other neighbors have not already dug there. Finding gold mines is a great way to get rich, but to dig a gold mine from a friend, you need to hire him to work. You can read more about the Gold Mine on its page in the “Miscellaneous” section in the top menu. The search for gold veins is greatly simplified by a guard dog that will do it for you in exchange for a tasty bone.

    Friends and neighbors

    The more neighbors you have in Klondike, the more gifts and exchange opportunities you have, which means the more productive the game. Invite new friends to the game. Send free gifts daily. The more gifts you send out, and the sooner you do so after the game's nightly update, the more you get in return. Give your friends what they need. In this case, checking the box next to “Show who is looking” when sending gifts will help a lot. In this case, your friends will be more grateful to you than if they receive unnecessary gifts instead of the materials they need.

    Coins

    Do not sell products from your warehouse to make money - you will definitely need them later. Coins are found in caches left after cutting down resources, and they can also be obtained by turning in some collections. When handing over collections, always try to leave several types of them for the future, because they may be needed on adventures. You can also sell gold if you need to urgently buy something useful or sell trays of eggs created in the barn. In this case, it is also better to sell a little of everything, rather than one type of material entirely. If you need coins urgently, you can dig them up under some buildings and decorations. Another way to earn money is growing cucumbers and cabbage, as well as selling rabbits, the number of which increases after each feeding. The fastest way to get hold of coins is to donate the Indigo collection (drops from nests and statues of various birds, more details on the collection page). Or exchange it in the exchange on the right in the menu.

    Collections

    Collections are required when completing some quests, so when exchanging a collection, think carefully about whether it would be better to save it for the future. Collections drop out when digging from friends and at your station, are found in hiding places under stones and trees, and also fall from Gold Veins. Good collections drop from golden animal monuments, into which your animals turn, having fulfilled their production quota. You can read more about where exactly you can find the required collection in the “Collections” section of the top menu.

    Energy

    The character's permanent maximum energy limit increases very slowly - thanks to leveling up. When starting the game, you have a maximum energy limit of 15. The third, sixth, tenth, fifteenth and twentieth levels each give one more energy unit to the total limit. Thus, upon reaching level 20 you will have a limit of 20 energy. The entire list of levels can be seen on the levels page in the top menu.
    You can temporarily increase the limit. To do this, having energy filled to the limit, break a lot of resources, stones and trees to the last unit. And then, in one go, finish off all the resources (which only have one unit) at the same time. Caches under these resources drop different amounts of energy (depending on the size of the resource). The effect of gaining energy can be increased if, before updating the game (before 00:00 Moscow time), you dig up buildings and decorations from neighbors from which it falls. The same can be done immediately after the update. By increasing the overall energy limit, you get the opportunity to split resources that were previously unavailable for breaking by the main character. Energy can also be obtained using Bread, which falls from golden monuments of Rabbits, and other baked goods that can be prepared in the Bakery.

    Adventures

    See the tasks from the adventure map on the website in the top menu in advance to better navigate the game. There you can find the entire list of current quests and tasks that need to be completed.

    It appeared in 2012, and since then has gathered thousands of loyal fans under its banner. The passage of the game “Klondike: The Lost Expedition” includes hundreds of quests, which are interesting and exciting to work on. This is one of the reasons why the application does not lose popularity even among experienced players. As they progress, novice players gain valuable resources and experience, and experienced gamers become even more established as good farm owners. At the same time, new branches of the storyline open up, which contain a lot of unknown adventures and quests.

    Buildings in the application

    As with any farm, there are buildings that perform different functions. The buildings in “Klondike: The Lost Expedition” are divided into several groups according to their purpose:
    economic facilities necessary for the production of various products;
    festive buildings that are installed, for example, on New Year's Eve;
    decorative objects necessary to decorate the city and create interesting infrastructure;
    social buildings needed to interact with friends and neighbors.
    Each building will always occupy part of the city land and cannot be stored in a warehouse. The only option is sale, but compensation will be minimal - about 1/10 of the funds spent on construction.

    How to get maximum results?

    To help you achieve the best performance, we have prepared tips for the game "Klondike: The Lost Expedition". For example, we recommend not sending workers to mine coal or wood, but doing it manually, using your own energy. Thus, you will be able to collect collection elements that fall out during mining, and receive energy, which also appears during manual production. These and other tips in the application will help you develop your farm as quickly as possible.

    The levels of Klondike: The Lost Expedition give the player a lot of bonuses in the form of new buildings, additional energy or materials. As you gain each subsequent level, greater and greater rewards await you. A total of 170 levels of the game are written, but there is every reason to believe that, upon reaching the last one, the developers will make several more.

    Most buildings in the Klondike are needed for the manufacture of products, but there are also buildings intended for other purposes, for example, hiring neighbors. Festive buildings Christmas tree and New Year tree are the first of the buildings in the toy with unusual functions. They can be used to make gift boxes filled with materials, crops, collection components, coins, skills, and energy.

    Gifts made in Christmas trees are used only to sell them to your neighbors; there is no need to open them yourself. The main thing is that the building begins to fulfill its functions; just purchasing it is not enough. You only buy the foundation of a building under construction, which will only function if you build it up to the window, using professional materials for the construction. If the building produces something, you will certainly need workers.

    The buildings also have a decorative character. Most of them can be deployed, thereby creating the architecture of the future city. By complementing the buildings with a variety of thematic decors, it is possible to achieve an excellent visual similarity between your gaming station and a real city.

    KLONDIKE: THE MISSING EXPEDITION

    KEY FEATURES OF THE GAME “KLONDIKE: THE LOST EXPEDITION”

    “Klondike – the Lost Expedition” is a project in the field of economic social games.

    The game is hosted on the world's largest social networks and does not require downloading a client. The plot is very fascinating, and the controls are extremely simple. The genre of the game "Klondike" can be classified as adventure. The story of the game takes place in North America, in the 20-30s of the last century.

    The game world of Klondike from Vizor Interactive will take you to the era, with its unique atmosphere and charm. Into a world imbued with the ethnicity of the peoples of the Far North and the life of explorers and prospectors. You will find yourself in the Valley of the Blue Peaks, helping a young hero in search of the missing expedition of his gold-mining father.

    You will be faced with a difficult task: with the help of the local population and hired prospector friends, build and improve the station, develop livestock farming, and establish the production of food and materials for a long and exciting expedition.

    With a map in hand, you can explore the vast game world, discovering new, numerous territories. Colorful locations will provide new materials, opportunities and tasks. By completing quests, with each new step, you will get closer to solving the mystery of the missing expedition.

    In the game you will have many different things to do, so you won’t get bored. If you try to generalize everything, your day will consist of approximately the following activities:

      Product collection - collect materials and resources from buildings throughout the territory; harvesting - dig, water, sow and harvest crops in the beds; treasure hunt - under every tree and stone on the territory there are real treasures that you have to find and collect; trade - buy and sell things; friends - visit friends and find treasures on their territory; hiring workers - Eskimos will help you clear the area.

    Nature will provide you with everything you need for life, and what it doesn’t provide you can buy in the Store. The game store is a Shop, which has the following sections:

      seeds; Scenery; the buildings; animals; greenhouses; energy; workers; extensions; cloth.

    In essence, the Klondike game is the same farm, but with the ability to travel, which makes it unique.

    Pros of the game:

      presence of an interesting story; good graphics; short and clear training.
    SCENARIO

    At first glance, a fairly ordinary young man's idea to find his father turns into an exciting epic with many adventures. The whole story begins at a once abandoned station in the northern lands, where our young hero piece by piece collects information about his father's movements. To put the whole picture of the journey together, you and the hero will have to rebuild the station, establish contact with the local Eskimos and prepare the infrastructure for search expeditions in the harsh lands of the Klondike. On the way to your goal, many exciting quests await you; you will be immersed in the world of ancient lands, which will open up to you as you progress in the game.

    Klondike is a social game. The more friends, the more help from neighbors. This is an important principle of the game: communication between players, and daily gifts. The game has created a unique opportunity to bargain between neighbors, provide free assistance to each other with resources, and leave short messages to neighbors. During the game, new decorations and roulettes appear, from which players have the opportunity to receive a good bonus.

    CHARACTER

    We can choose who to play for. The main character can be either a man or a girl. You can select several elements of appearance, including clothing. It is also worth noting here that the appearance can be changed as you progress through the game as many times as you like. This is done absolutely free.

    Regardless of the chosen gender, the main character of the game has a lot of work to do. Our main goal is to find our father. To do this, we will need to set up a camp, organize the production of food and various equipment that we will use on our hikes.

    To speed up the process of developing your settlement, you should make friends. Every day, each friend can search any 5 objects on the territory, where you can find treasure and replenish your supplies. In order to have the opportunity to search for treasures on the lands of friends, they need to be hired. Thus, we will distract them with work so that they do not interfere with the search. This is very simple to do: we build tents or huts and move friends there. The hero can choose what to build himself. It all depends on the budget of the main character. However, these lands are full of gold, so there will obviously be no problems with money in the game “Klondike: The Lost Expedition”. After that, we go into the built house, select the hiring time and the friend we want to hire. Once a person is hired, he or she stands out from the list of other friends, and we can go in search of a Gold Mine in his or her lands.

    Any settler will sooner or later have a need for one type of resource or another. As well as the excess of some materials must be disposed of somewhere. Moreover, it is desirable that it be beneficial. This is precisely why there is a so-called “exchange” of the Klondike game, where players publish their offers for the sale and purchase of all kinds of materials.

    The exchange is located in the official communities of the game. There you can place an ad to buy or sell and the results will not be long in coming. Of course, if you have indicated a price and it is comparable with other offers on the market. As in any other place, you can influence the economy yourself and try to warm up the market. The main thing is to do this not at the expense of your own development. In addition to exchange, some things can be received as a gift from friends. Therefore, the more there are, the faster you will fill your warehouses and launch full-fledged production of all the necessary materials. Eagle Nest

    While the Eskimos are cutting down the forest at the station, and our crops are growing in the beds, we will explore the surroundings. After all, we must find our father, who disappeared in these parts. We will travel on a dog sled. For this purpose we were given a dog and a sleigh. Everything would be fine, but there is no snow anywhere and the dog will have a hard time: dragging a sleigh loaded to the top with gold on the ground is not so easy. Therefore, we harness the dog to the sleigh, take with us the necessary things (to get to this or that location, the number of items for the trip may vary) and hit the road.

    One of the settlements that we will visit will be the Eagle's Nest. It is called so, in fact, because of the nest, which is located on the oak tree in the upper corner of the map. In order to get to the Klondike Eagle's Nest, we will need a Light Wind sleigh. You can get them from an ordinary sled in the village of Song of the Wind, by pumping them up at the mill there. When we get the sleigh, we can hit the road. Then we look for an oak tree, complete the nest, and when we finish, new materials will become available to us, among which there will be a canister. Here you can upgrade the sled to Eagle.

      Best game at FLASH GAMM 2012 Best DEVGAMM 2013 Winner of KRI 2013 Best game for social networks
    TEAM

    At the moment, the team employs about twenty people.

    Better not send stonemasons to mine coal. Try to extract it on your own, using energy. In this way, you can gain additional experience (4-54 experience per hit on the coal) and discover a number of collection elements. We recommend using stonemasons to break large stones until your main character is unable to break them on his own. The situation is the same with woodcutters - the more wood they collect, the less experience and collection parts you will receive that you could get from cutting down on your own.

    In the sawmill and quarry, no more than three workers can work at the same time, collecting different resources. There will be 2 Eskimos at the station - free workers, all others need to be hired for money from among your friends. The price for which you can hire your friends may be different for everyone. If you want to hire friends cheaper, look in your lists for those friends who do not visit often and have a small number of their friends, the cost of hiring them will be small. You can also purchase a Hotel, the rental price will also be small. Worker friends need housing. Build them a tent, a shack, apartments, a house with an attic, or a hotel. The better the quality of housing, the less you will have to pay a worker per hour of work, and from here he will be able to work for you longer without interruption.

    Resources

    While the Eskimo Lumberjacks are mining trees, break up pyrite, clay, coal and ore. In them you will receive a large amount of experience, as well as energy, coins and parts of collections. Get the last pieces of stones or wood yourself - for the decisive blow to the resource you will receive a lot of experience, parts of collections, even gold. Pyrite also needs to be broken down independently - with energy - from which you will receive a large amount of gold, which you can sell and buy something you need. If you use stonemasons, you will receive regular stone. If you need some kind of resource, try digging from a friend, because during digging a certain amount of the resource being dug up may fall out.

    Animals

    Collect as much produce as possible from animals - cows, sheep and others - you will need it when building structures and completing some quests. Go looking for bird's nests at your friends' stations. To take over a friend's nest, hire him to work. In order to protect your nests, build a Farm and hire guards for the birds.

    Your animal will die after reaching its limit. Most birds - 15-25 nests, ordinary sheep - 25 wool, ordinary cows - 50 milk, purebred sheep - 125 wool, purebred cows - 200 milk, rabbits - after they eat 26 grass. The golden monument into which the animal can turn can only be opened by the owner by clicking on it. From such a monument you may receive valuable parts of the collection, as well as coins, experience, materials and products of this animal. Do not destroy all the grass at the station. In addition, it contains food for the production of birds - worms, mammals - cows, sheep - live on grass... If there is no place for animals to graze, you will have to provide them with hay. If you want birds to fly, you need to buy or prepare for them in a barn, fountain, or place for a feeder. There will also be the opportunity to raise birds and various livestock at the Farm and Poultry Farm. Basically, these animals will feed on mixed feed.

    Shovels

    Dig nearby players, using all 100 free shovels every day (5 per friend). The limit on free shovels is restored at 00.00 Moscow time. Shovels will also help take eggs from the nests of all your neighbors if there are special buildings, resources, decorations or plants that cover them. You need to click on the object covering the nest, and then on the nest itself. The player will dig up the object, and then collect all the eggs, of course, if other friends of your neighbor have not collected them.

    In case of need for energy, gold, resources or certain collections, dig those items where there is a chance of them falling out. By changing some collection, you can get a special shovel with which you can extract energy and collection from your friends.

    Gold veins

    All the time, carry out digging work on objects, decorations or other resources of your friend, in the desire to find gold ore, which is updated once a week. The opportunity to discover a valuable treasure will increase if you look for it in difficult places, where few neighbors have been. In such a unique treasure, the size of which is 2-8 shovels, it is possible to discover: gold, experience, and elements of collections. In each station, 20 deposits are constantly generated at random under various buildings, decorations, resources, and even grass. In any case, the veins spread throughout the entire territory of the station, even if it is still closed. The smaller the number of different items your friend has, the more deposits you can find there. Using gold mines is a very good way to get rich, but in order to get a friend’s Gold Mine, you need to hire him to work. To simplify your search for veins, hire a dog, she will find everything for you for just a tasty bone.

    Friends and neighbors

    The more friends you have in the game, the more options you will have for sharing resources, which means the quality of the game will be higher. Send invitations to the game. Send free gifts to your friends every day. The more gifts you send and the sooner you do this after the game's overnight update, the more experience you can receive in return. Give only the gifts your friends need. A hint about what each of your friends needs will help you with this. Thus, your friends will be very grateful to you if you give them not useless gifts, but those that will be very useful to them for some purpose.

    Coins

    Do not sell all the contents from the warehouse to make money - you will still need it in the future. The caches contain coins that remain after cutting down resources, and can also be received as a reward for selling collections. When handing over collections, try to keep some for yourself in the future, you will still need them on adventures. If necessary, you can sell gold if you need to buy something or sell trays of eggs made in the barn. Here you also need to sell wisely, do not sell all items of the same type. If urgently needed, you can dig up coins under some buildings. A good way to earn extra money is by selling vegetables and animals, which become more and more abundant after feeding. The fastest way to get coins is to sell collections - Indigo (falls from nests and statues of various birds, more details on the collections page). And also by exchanging it through a special option.

    Collections

    Often you will need collections when completing tasks, so think twice before selling any part of the collections, it may still be very useful to you. Collections are obtained by digging from comrades and at your station, found in hiding places under stones and trees, and also drop from Gold Veins. Valuable collections fall from golden animal monuments, into which your animals are transformed after fulfilling their production quota.

    Energy

    The player's permanent energy limit increases rather slowly - due to level growth. When starting the game, you will have the highest energy limit - 15. The third, sixth, tenth, fifteenth and twentieth levels will add another point of energy to the total limit. As a result, having reached level 20, you will have a limit of 20 energy. A complete list of levels can be viewed on the levels page at the top of the menu.

    You can raise the limit temporarily. To do this, when the energy limit is filled to the brim, break a lot of resources, stones and trees, all to the last part. After that, finish off all the resources (which have only one unit) at one time. Caches that are located under these resources drop different amounts of energy (depending on the size of the resource). The quality of energy collection can be improved if, before updating the game (before 00:00 Moscow time), you carry out excavations at a neighboring building and decoration, where it can fall out. This action can be done after the update. By increasing the total energy limit, you will have the opportunity to break resources that were previously closed for breaking by the main character. You can get energy with the help of Bread, which drops from the golden monuments of Rabbits, and other baked goods that can be made in the Bakery.

    Energy extraction and storage

    Energy is spent on everything - sowing seeds, clearing forests, picking up and delivering stones, cutting grass and bushes, cutting firewood in the barn and avoiding obstacles. When your energy supply comes to an end, you will need to wait for it to be restored: every 3 seconds you will be awarded one energy point. But in any case, there is not enough energy forever, the question arises of where and how to get energy, which worries all players, as well as how to collect it. Energy can be obtained in the following ways:

    • in the glands under stones, trees and deposits of coal, clay and ore, caches (the caches do not have to be your own - neighbors’ ones will also do),
    • cutting down acacia thickets, snow-covered and autumn bushes at his station,
    • digging around the neighbors: under decking, lanterns and buildings, fences and mailboxes, dog kennels and posts, ferns and redwoods, under benches and in flower beds, around gnomes and in poultry houses;
    • for completed quests;
    • eating pies, bread and cookies and cheesecakes made in the Bakery, or consuming food brought from the expedition,
    • from gifts received in Christmas trees;
    • receiving from neighbors - in gratitude for gifts purchased from the player’s Christmas tree;
    • cutting down a palm tree or rummaging through a cache located underneath it.

    In the case when all methods have been tried, but there is not enough energy, you can quickly restore energy if you have reserves that were bought in the Shop and exchanged for emeralds.

    Every player wants to collect more energy, and this is not at all difficult. To do this you need to know a few tricks. For example, trees cut down by sawmill workers will provide only clean goods. If the player cuts them down himself, he also receives energy in addition to bonus experience.

    With each next level, your energy will be restored. You need to monitor the number of stars; during the period when there are few of them left to the next level, try to completely drain the rest of your energy: cut something down or plant something. Then you need to destroy one of the caches and exchange your golden statue or collection. After this, your energy bar for the next level will be completely filled.
