    Many teachers of the ISA Institute are employees of the institute's laboratory complex.
    As part of the implementation of the National Research University program, the ISA research laboratories were equipped with modern research equipment, allowing them to conduct unique scientific research at a high level. In addition to master's and postgraduate students, students of all courses are also involved in research work. The best student scientific works take prizes at All-Russian and international conferences and exhibitions.

    Within the framework of the Student Scientific Society of NRU MGSU, the Institute has scientific circles in various areas, led by leading scientists. The results of the research are discussed at conferences of students, undergraduates, graduate students and young scientists regularly held at the National Research University MGSU.

    Every year, the Institute organizes International (All-Russian) scientific conferences. On the basis of the Institute there is a seminar for senior students, undergraduates and graduate students, the meetings of which are held 2 times a year, at which leading scientists consider current problems of construction science.

    On the basis of the Institute, 3 departments of the Scientific and Technical Council of the National Research University MGSU operate, at the meetings of the sections of which the results of scientific research, commercial contractual work, and dissertations are considered:

    Department No. 1. "Architecture and urban planning";

    Department No. 2. “Reliability of building structures and foundations”;
